Hi buddie @Sue.Q mission accomplished fasted and shifted 1.3kg so am back with in an acceptable range but will have to fast ASAP again to get back the rest of the gain another 500gm would be good.

Have to get back into routine and catch up on all sorts of things but would rather read a book. Oh well! There is an nice lamb curry in the slow cooker, made for scratch of course and the saffron rice is done. And that is for tomorrow, today is left overs as have been cooking up a treat since getting back home. Sort of balances me.

Hope all is good with you

Well done @gillymary great that your fast has blown awaymost of your gain, bet the aromas of tomorrow's curry are lovely
throughout your home.
Yes I'm good I'm having my usual weekend of indulgence, not really doing much different than I was 2months ago when I was stuck.
I really do believe that was my body in shock of losing my first 50lbs in my first 8 month, its given it time to heal etc and some of my saggy skin is pulling back probably only noticeable to me but there are small signs
I'm trying for a 19:5 today but may turn into 16:8 but I'm hopeful coz I've set myself a few chores about the house to keep myself busy.
But I'm 4:3 in the next week starting my my Monday fast.
Take care of yourself enjoy your treats today and the
yummy curry tomorrow.

hi ladies, just checking in. I'm doing alright for now, poor sleeping (mostly down to stress I think) which is making me eat stupidly. The doc weighed me last week and I was down to 90kg and then I weighed myself yesterday and I was up 91.7kg...Really need to get it under control. I start back at work today and I'm actually dreading this academic year with a passion. I hope it passes quickly. How are you all doing? Much love to you all xxxx

Good to see you dreamy!
I hope the next year works out better than you anticipate...stress is a bugger for making weight stick or escalate
Maybe you need to devise some kinda strategy to just get thru a bit at a time?..just get you thru this term rather than see the whole academic year in a gloomy way..its a long time to wish away!XX

Dear@gillymary and @Sue.Q!

And a big wave to the rest of your group. I'm kinda fasting again, but it's only from when I wake up till lunch time. I've decided I don't need to eat breakfast. It seems to cause binges only some of the time. So I might keep it up seeing its easy.

I agree Sue that your body has been healing and in shock from the big change. I take my hat off to you for hanging in there.
I cannot stand the weight gain I've done this past 6 months. But I know sometimes the doors to change stay shut until the stars align or god knows what. I feel a change beginning for me. Positive one.
I have a new physical therapist soon who might also bring in new energy.
I don't know how to get my photo to show. It shows for me but not others.
Anyway.
Best wishes
Jo :clover: :clover: :clover:

@daydreamer21
Hi Sammy well that 6weeks seems to have gone very quickly :like:
90kgs!!!!! I wish ( stuff if dreams)
Sorry you're under so much stress lately I'm sure things will settle down again very soon, but certainly don't let work add to the other stresses you've already got you don't want extra.
I've been out all day (retail therapy) not not bought much as I'm in between sizes and don't want to spend lots on a size I'm hoping to grow out of lol but the temptation us enormous as I've not bought theses sizes in many years.
Good luck to both of you and Jammie with the upcoming
job interview, take care of each other. :clover:

@Sue.Q @daydreamer21 @Johanna5 nearly a full set of fasting buddies again.

Sammy you know what you have to do, take good care of you, get lots of rest and eat your greens you will find time flies. sound like a nag don't I ha ha!

Nice to see you back Jo, 16:8 works wonders for many on here. I know what you mean about binges though. I have to fight them after a fast day. Just keep on keeping on is my motto trying for a couple of good 500cal fasts a week just chips away at things

Go on Sue spoil yourself and buy some nice new things, makes one feel good. I am an op/charity shop tragic and find if you are selective you can find some lovely pre-loved items. Then when you have no use for them recycle them again as its much easier to say goodbye to them as you trend downwards into the smaller you

Ahhh @CandiceMarie I have other reasons for wanting the year to go faster ;) but yes, I need to drastically reduce the amount of stress in my life. I think things are going to change a lot this year, I'm going to step back a bit and take more time for myself rather than killing myself at work. It will be an adventure!

Hope your first day back to work went according to plan @daydreamer21 Yes you need to get your sleeping back to where it was before now your back at work with extra stresses this year brings. :like: :clover:

Hi Jo yes 16:8 is a good starter back into fasting I can actually lose weight with that method but they all need to be very cautious days small steps needed too begin with,
good luck with the therapist.
:clover: :clover: :clover:
my struggles this last 6months I believe have been because I gave up sugar in April and had real cravings since then
however I've not taken sugar in my hot drinks since then so I'm proud of that small achievement, unlike other members who say they stop craving I've not (wish I had though)
That's making this WOL difficult but no going back!!!

@gillymary How are your plans going?
All OK I hope I'm fasting again today and back2back with tomorrow then scale day Friday, yes I overindulged a little yesterday on my shopping trip ordering a meal with chips and didn't actually enjoy them but still ate three quarters of them why? coz im stupid probably.
Quorn spag bol with courgette spaghetti and shredded cabbage for tonight's meal already made that, I'm off for a walk into town now for a mini food shop and walk back.

Hi @Sue.Q @daydreamer21@gillymary.

I think stress is really key, I totally agree with you.
I will keep doing the no food thing till lunch time....mostly because I'm not hungry.

I have had months of out of control eating. I'm grateful I can manage this now. I think the key is to have a good amount of good stress. I tend to slide fast into toxic stress.
I'm starting a placement for my social work masters degree next week. I'm hoping it will be the good type of stress. I'm not sure if not eating before work is a good thing thats what I'm struggling with.

@gillymaryI love op shops too. I can get lost in those places. Car boot sales are also cool, with lots of cheap things.
I think the bingeing gets stronger though - when stress is around.
So you have managed to still hold your weight loss even with the binges? what do you do to bring the binges to a pause?
Oh and lamb curry yum! I had chicken curry happening last night but i got lost in a phone call and burnt the damn thing lol.
@Sue.Q i so appreciate any wisdom you share. I wonder whats different now compared to when you where stuck? has life less stress?
@daydreamer21 , Hi honey. I think your sleep is key. I've finally got mine under control. Keep on trying to get it right I suggest as there ARE remedies out there. You just have to find one that works. Best wishes with the job.

Now what to do with smokey curried chicken. I think it's too weird.
Jo

@Johanna5 I have kept off the greater proportion the weight I lost. Only to a degree. I would prefer it be lower though. Have a no go over benchmark and that is what I sustain. Am a tad over since being away for a week. So am having to get back with a low carb stretch. Am aiming for more fasts to get me back to my preferred weight. My binges are likely to be more craves and are days when I just want to snack which some days I do just that. Try and stick to real food when am in that zone not cakes and carbs. Usually I hurry back to some regular fluid fasting.

Do you have any idea if jools will be back Jo. Hope she is doing well.

Have to :sleepy: go

Hi gillymary, sorry I can't tag using mobile.
I like the ways you set boundaries. Have you always been good at that?
For me I have some, some of the time.
I'm glad you've kept with it.
No unfortunately I've not see her since we chatted here beginning of year.
You guys must miss her. She's a brilliant support. I imagine she's very busy.
Ok. Sleep for me. Insulin results Monday. I'm thinking its high. Will explain a lot.
Have a good weekend.
:)

Hi buddies small loss this week so I didn't meet my goal as I promised last Friday never mind I really thought I'd get it coz of a few quiet days at home,
but the carb/sugar monster struck again!!!!
500 grams to my challenge goal and its slow going.

No Jo not stress related at all (don't do stress lol)
Just cravings so I've got to get a grip and learn to fight back and jolly well show him whose the boss here.

Hi ladies, hope you are keeping well....The weight is piling on and I'm starting to feel concerned, yesterday it was up to 95kg today down to 94.3....I think I need to make an appointment with my doctor and get my thyroid checked out as I'm not really eating much, but maybe it's because I'm eating daily now- who knows. I'm starting to feel a little better, sleeping has become a little better and the morning sickness go through phases. I have my first appointments with my midwife in 5 weeks which I'm very excited about.
