@daydreamer21 @Sue.Q @jools7 morning all

Sammy that's a good idea to use quinoa in tabbouleh, very refreshing and you can't go wrong with all that parsley and mint etc. I make JO falafel for wraps for my dear-heart so that is such a good salad to have in the fridge as also have a squillion lemons on my tree. Good to hear your pain a bit better and big congrats for your efforts.

Sue going on my trip mid July and only a few days but so excited to catch up with my longest held friends.

Jools originally being a Queenslander your Gold Coast jogging spot takes me down memory lane to holidays in my childhood spent visiting at the Currumbin Bird Sanctuary, and walks around the point at Tallabudgerra or swimming in the creek as we used to love visiting the area .

Hope you are all doing well

@Sue.Q @daydreamer21 @jools7 ooh no need to wrest with the yellow line this time. Now buddies I am feeling a tad lonely as no buddie has asked me how I am doing for a few days,

So am going to tell you anyway. I seem to be in a pattern of ADF which is rather pleasant . When I am less busy I seem to fall into it. More like windows than 5:2 but I fluid fast until I feel hungry. Now just have to get the body to respond. Sigh!

That's it for me, how about you?

Hi buddies @gillymary @daydreamer21 & @jools7
Yes sorry about that gillymary I thought my news this week was going to be exceptional and wanted to wait until Fridays weigh in, my news is good coz I've lost over one pound/650grams unfortunately for me I took a sneaky peek on Weds and its the very same today despite a cautious Wed and a fast on Thurs,
no worries I'll willingly take the average loss especially if its regular.
Well done on the ADF as that entails a day over weekend I'm doing mostly back2back midweek, your body will respond when IT'S ready to!!! I never actually believed that until quite recently, sometimes we just have no contol.
Strangely enough I've felt really good all week again not done any long walks as we've a garden project on talking our time up hopefully by next week we can reverse those days and get out more while we've still got the sunshine.
OK what have our other two buddies been up to.

Happy weekend my dear friends @Sue.Q@gillymary@jools7!

Work has been tough this week! The temperature has been soaring, and children + heat = very irritable behaviour. I was so glad to see 3:15 today. They are all tired and grumpy, I'm tired and grumpy. They had sports day yesterday too, so they were all shattered and whiny today. Next week is going to be nicer though, we have a school trip on Tuesday and on Thursday, quite a few trade unions are taking industrial action so the school is closed to children. So, that has been my week so far- how have you all been this week?

I have just completed my 3rd fast of the week again, and my weight has been down all week, no real spikes in my weight- which I am enjoying massively. It's nice that my weight daily is within about 500gs.

@gillymary It's nice that you've managed to get yourself into an ADF pattern, I hope to eventually get in that pattern.
@Sue.Q a loss is a loss  keep up the good work! What is your garden project?

Anyone have any plans for the weekend? I'm thinking of just chilling out, spending time with family.
Have a great time whatever you lovely ladies are up to

@daydreamer21 @Sue.Q @jools7 morning buddies

Sammy sounds like you need your weekend off so enjoy. My weekend is mapped out with lots of lesson planning , end of year bookwork to complete. Having friend over for Sunday brunch and have a lovely meals planned. So will be glad to have accomplished my to do list.

ADF falls into place when I am not as busy with work. I go with each day as it arises and am spontaneous as to how the fasts eventuate so it is with hindsight I find I do ADF. That way don't have to always be focussing

Good on you Sue agree with Sammy a loss is a loss. Have a nice weekend everyone

Hi ladies! Hope you are all keeping well :) we had our school trip today... 60 children in Covent Garden was a slight headache but they had a blast at the transport museum. We are all shattered now though, I'm glad I wasn't fasting today, I don't think I could have coped lol. I managed to hit a small milestone in terms of weight loss over the weekend, I always had this goal of being under 200lbs and this weekend I hit 199!!! It's fluttered back up to 200 but I'm still so so happy, it's amazing how much I'm losing with this woe, even though it's slow, looking back over my progress the past few months I can really see how well I've done. I feel really proud of myself!

@daydreamer21 what an inspiration you are. Thank you too for the tabbouleh recipe as well. I made it and it was lovely down to the last morsel. I am reminded with your tale about a 60 child outing. I volunteered with my sons vacation care once for a trip to Sydney of 40 kids. It seemed we head counted about every 5 minutes when we were in the thick of the city and there were some pretty cheeky ones who tried to hide on us. I ended up counting in my sleep. I get your exhaustion. No child lost good outcome

Just a quick dip into forum, travelling OK. Busy bee then I go away on my Tassie trip. Yippee. All the best to fellow buddies @Sue.Q & @jools7 are you going alright haven't see you around?

Hi buddies @gillymary @daydreamer21 @jools7
Confession time I've had a bad week loads of cravings for sweet stuff and chocolate this has become worse since I gave up sugar and I've just got to ride this one out and obviously make sure there's only one winner. ME!!!
I suppose I'm lucky to have had only a small gain.
Friday starts my fasting week so a 16:8 today
I've an opportunity to do my first fast tomorrow plus Monday & Wednesday == 4:3 sock pulling up time before the rot sets in This is where this WOL is a winner the flexibility makes it so sustainable, I'd have jacked things in a very long time agobwith other "diets".
I needed to confess and get it down in writing to help pull myself back OK its only a small gain but obviously a small loss would have taken me closer to my interim goal.

Well done Sammy you're going great guns, can you pass a little of your determination up my way?. :clover:

Gillymary I can feel your excitement as your " outing" gets closer, when do you go?
Our Jools must be a very busy lady again
I'm eager to hear if you've had more luck in reaching your all time lowest yet.
Enjoy your weekend buddies whatever you get up to.

Hi buddies @gillymary @daydreamer21 @jools7
Well I vowed I'd do my first of 4:3 on Saturday which I sort of did do but wasn't a true 500 cal fast/ very low cal deffo.
Yesterday was 20:4 and very low carb day, feeling very good and motivated, that in mind I sneaked a peek on scales this morning and saw the mid 96s again!!!!!!!!
Boy am I now full of it and a true 500cal fastday it's going to be now because of that, amazing.

Sammy I hope you're well today cut yourself a little slack if needs be you've done a great job so far, be proud of all you've achieved so far.
Gillymary if are you away with your friends enjoy
Jools where in the world are you? Lol

Edited because of dyslexia lol

Hi ladies, hope you are all well.

I had a good fast yesterday after only 5:2 last week I am determined to do 4:3 this week. My weight has bounced up a little but it's close to that time of the month so I'm sure that's why, also I think I ate too many sugary things over the weekend with it being my sisters birthday, dealing with the crap from Jay and alcohol. This week I shall be good again though, and hopefully get back down to where it was last week.

Sue you're doing brilliantly on your own! I'm rooting for you though hun. The weight has really been falling off me lately, which I'm glad about, almost another half stone down which will make 6 and half! Getting so close to maintenance I just want to be there. I think the last few stone will take awhile to come off but I'm very determined to get there.
Gillymary, I'm glad you enjoyed the tabbouleh- it's very tasty! I have that with some chicken breast and I'm so stuffed! And quinoa is great for you :)

How is everyone's week going? I'm working my way through it- I feel so shattered. However this time next week, I shall be facing my last day at work! I met my new class today (well some the children who already attend our nursery) and they are just gorgeous! I love them already. Hopefully the children from outside our school are just as amazing.

Hello buddies I am back but I see you too have been quiet while I have been away. Had a fabulous trip to Tasmania for a reunion with some friends from my student days. We just continue on where we left off each year. We managed to have together 5 days, this time which is a rare treat. Hobart is such a lovely place we made the best of it and the weather was perfect. Managed lots of walking, nice food, catching up and laughter while taking in the sights, the market and galleries.

I am just back settling back in at home and am back into the fray at work. Very sad as we lost our lovely dog, sudden and shocking. We miss him terribly. @Sue.Q well done with your weight loss and @daydreamer21 hope all is well and your numbers are getting up there. Lovely to hear about the little ones.

Hi buddies @gillymary @daydreamer21 And the elusive @jools7 :like:
Sorry for my abence and thanks for you concern gillymary
yes a bad bout if bronchitis combined with throat infection has completely floored me like nothing before I think I'm coming through it today but I'm so weak its untrue, I'm doing absolutely nothing because I can't!!!!
Had lost 1kg mid week but on this mornings weigh-in it read 200grams so that's the figure gone into my tracker I'm not really trying for anything I just don't feel like eating but of course my OH/carer worries when I miss to many meals he now excepts that breakfast is a no no and only do light lunches anyway.

Glad you've had a good time in Hobart gillymary your group of friends sounds just that "good friends" the ones where you pick up where you left off however long has passed in between
seeing each other.
Sorry about your dog passing away was that Max? such a
terribly sad and stressful time.
Sammy how's your first week off gone?
Hope you've managed to sort your stuff out so you can enjoy your lovely lengthy break with our lovely weather.
Where has our lovely Jools gone go now. Lol
