Hello all! Sorry for my absence (again) I've been trying to be social (something I would never do before weight loss) so I've been out to parties/drinks/picnics. Fasting has sort of gone on the back burner for awhile and the numbers have been creeping up :( but they'll go down again I'm sure. I've been sleeping loads when I haven't been out, and I'm off to Scotland on Saturday for a couple of weeks to see Jamie (we worked through that issue, he still has a lot of trust regaining to do though) so I might be quiet again! I hope that everyone is keeping well. Love to all xxx

Gillymary hope things have calmed down a little for you and hope you've caught up with your holiday washing/ironing. Lol

Off out to Tesco to stock up, as you can tell I'm feeling a lot better and hopeful of a walk over the weekend not to far for the first couple just in case but it seems ages since I did a nice walk.
Garden pond & patio finished, and now looking for a well earned holiday probably for September, a busy couple of days for me.
Take care buddies and thank-you for all your help because without you and this forum I couldn't have got this far,
more importantly lasted this long on any "diet"
I Love this WOL.♥♥♥♥

@gillymary I think you've got it in one Perseverance!!!
Not easy to play the waiting game with so much more to lose thinking what am I doing wrong because it worked so well for me last year then after xmas I've really struggled doing what I thought was similar I've not exercised as much this year and that is/was a disappointment for me but being the "garden gofer" has kept me fairly active. Lol

Had a great fast yesterday @Sue.Q lost 1kg but as I had not fasted since before 16/7/14 was a fortnight overdue for a good fast. I seem to be just sitting in the one spot. My trick for my trip away was that I ate like my travel buddies and they are both slips of things. Me well, I have a more robust appetite but I did not gain while I was away and indulged in some lovely Tassie fare. So good to be back on track so do hope to fit in another fast later in the week

Hope you travel well too me dears. Hope you are having fun @daydreamer21. Sue agree you are persistent, well done again

Hi buddies, @gillymary @daydreamer21 @jools7
Glad your fast went well gillymary it does feel so much better to get one in, strange hearing myself say that so hopefully the "old" me has gone away forever, not sure the reason behind my recent reversal in weightloss and hoping this stays with me awhile yet, or maybe my bidy was resting up and now ready to let go of some more flab lol whatever the reason i welcome it back.
Fasting today and it's going well have been for a country walk of fields + tracks 4 miles/6km in the lovely sunshine really enjoyed it, I'm doing back2back tomorrow coz I'm out for a spa day with
3 friends this includes 2 very good treatments facial and back neck and shoulder massage, it doesn't do lunch as such so
we've decided to make it a fastday then eat with hubby when I return home, don't worry about being to busy we're all here for each other eventually, all I hope Jools returns to us. :clover:

Hi @Sue.Q that walk sounded positively delightful lucky you. I just seemed to be indoors most of the day. More of the same for next 2 days but come Thursday I will be on another fast-day. That's the plan anyway.

Look like it is you and me buddy for now but we can and are keeping up the support and contact. @daydreamer21 as well is with us. Dare I say we are now a threesome. Eitherway ditto hope @jools7 is going well

Hiya buddies however many there are of us :like:
@gillymary So glad you've managed to put 2 good fastdays in this week well done, we do feel so much better when we do.
I've done 4:3 albeit a dodgy 3rd (prob bit over) never mind I've got a loss of 350grams which I'll take thank you very much,
My weightloss was bound to slow down after my phenomanol success of last year and providing I see regular small losses that's fine with me because my body need time to pull back some of the baggy skin drooping everywhere somewhat, so some new exercise routines needed now I'm thinking to aid that need.
Off out to Tesco now for the weekly shopping and a much needed celeriac which is helping no end with my low carbing.

@daydreamer21 Hope you're having a good time up in Scotland with Jammie, the weather wasn't very good last week up there with the games on TV looking awful so I'm hoping its got a little better so you can get out and about together. :clover: :clover:

Ooh you are heading in the right direction @Sue.Q I am very proud of you . I was good until 6pm and went over but did well in a window sort of fashion. All was not lost. I went shopping after gym so my resolve faltered.

Usually need to eat after gym anyway. Good I got gym in as well. So won't be hard on myself . Time go sleep cheers

Post script: My goodness it look like I was on something so many typos but all fixed

@gillymary
We are the Dynamic Duo for a while lol
Hi buddie hope you've enjoyed your weekend and managed today's fast, your meal sounds very nice indeed, I don't think I've tried feta cheese cooked, memory loss probably.
Haven't made a decision on my meal for later yet but do want a couple of "true" fasts this week so I'm thinking veggie something because we get so much more for our calorie allowance and more filling, and hoping that'll keep me out of the kitchen later on.
Bag of courgettes in the fridge, quorn mince in freezer, plenty of other veggies to fodder up on, decision made probably.
Having a major cleaning session today keeping my fastday a busy one because I'm off out all day tomorrow.
