I am embarrassed to say I am devoid of imagination, and I missed the party last year (can't even recall seeing it :( :( ), so I really don't know what to suggest as my contribution or quite how it all works. I better hunt for last year's thread! We haven't really done much for Christmas since the boys grew up, apart from getting together with my parents for the lunchtime meal. No Christmas tree, no decorations, even almost no presents! I am certainly no chef, can't make anything decorative either - I think I had better join CandiceMarie in the kitchen washing up,max that is something I do every year and takes longer than preparing the meal (which my mother does, and if she can use 3 of something rather than just 1, she does, and they have no automatic dishwasher...) Trouble is, being in Australia, we will be first to do most things - maybe I do the first round of washing up??

I am new here so I do not know what this is all about but it does sound like a good way to get to know you all.

Can anyone provide a link to last year's thread so I can see what is involved.

Candicemarie and I replied at the same time and mine vanished, so here I go again :starving:
Anyway, I am volunteering to make the hot weather puddings, red wine sorbet, christmas pudding icecream and festive semi-freddo for all. Even those in the northern hemisphere may like a nibble when they are too stuffed to eat but still want something!
I will be stuck at work in the mud pit, so this will be the only christmas party I get (sound of violins wafting through the air)

Hoorah! I shall be there to make sure there is an endless supply of Angel Delight...only one flavour...Butterscotch!

Bean   :present:
Re: Christmas party 2014!

That will be highly acceptable Bean, given that it is "the" flavour where Angel Delight is concerned IMHO (& clearly yours too!).

Looking forward to the party already! Can I sign up to make either the mulled wine (not the ready-made variety) or some shortbread Christmas trees, Santas and robins????
