They are my FAVOURTE. My mum always made them. Hmmmmmm
@lil I LOVE your reindeers! They'd go great with a bowl of Angel Delight Im sure
Is anyone bringing the Baileys?
Bean
I already volunteered for childminding, like I did last year. But I would like a friend to help - there will be too many for me to keep track of on my own. Seems like most will be grandkids, but there will be a few partygoers with their own small ones. Anybody up for this? I don't remember who did it with me last year. Would be fun to teach the kids games from other lands.
You're on your own there @wendyjane!
Shall I look after the dogs? Just in case there are fireworks
Bean :?:
Well, I'll give you a pass, @Nursebean, but don't condemn me to doing this alone.
Who else out there is in my position, kids grown up, but grandkids off on the horizon somewhere? Needing a small child "fix"?
Sorry, Wendyjane, I am the doggy person too! Maggiee, those little morsels look delightful and may go nicely with my red wine sorbet!!
I'd love to come - when is it?!
@Lizbean,

I'll make sure we have enough wood for a roaring bonfire. And also to keep us warm, there will be hot cocoa spiked with Kalua, topped with homemade whipped cream. The red and green sugar sprinkles on top are optional.
I am happy to supply some of the alcohol needed for the cocktails and other pre and post dinner celebrations. So put me down for the Baileys and let me know what else. (Anything I can "buy" as opposed to something I have to make....!!!)
Maggie, will be lovely to have your company in the kitchen - I am looking forward to the almond crescent biscuits (I will have to visit for real too to have a taste!!). The reindeer biscuits look gorgeous too, as do the other cakes. Mouth is watering already!

good question @warriorprincess. i dont know. does anyone else know as it needs to allow for 24 hours to cover internationalal times. a full day party sound like fun. or lets make it a fullweekend so people have time to drop by some time at least once.
my cake is going to taste great
How about 20/21st? Gives us more time to prepare!
I like that date
I am all for a whole week!!!!
I didn't notice the virtual Christmas Paty last year and therefore don't know about the party. Would someone kindly explain how it works? :?:
