Can I join in this year please, I remember reading all about it last year, but was too shy to join in!

I would like to bring my now famous Kipferl - Austrian Vanilla Crescents shortbread and yes with real butter!
They are such delicate little things, a pain to make, but well-worth it as they just melt in your mouth! When I can work out how to up load a picture on here of them, I will do so.

I would also be happy to join @Sassy1 and @CandiceMarie in the kitchen, especially with a drink in one hand and a tea towel in the other!

cheers Maggie :present: :drink: :rainbow: :plate: :eat:

Can I supply the Cranberry and Orange hooch? Its been sat in the cupboard since January ( reduced priced cranberries from December and reduced cheap Vodka) and has matured really well.

Sounds interesting@Julieathome Do you add sugar a la sloe gin or is it just vodka and cranberries. I have a lot of cranberries in the freezer from last year......

Sugar to taste 'al la sloe gin'. The rind and juice of oranges is used as well, though you can get away with just orange juice.

I would love to come this year, need a shy wallflower type? I'd love to bring a fresh shrimp appetizer with some hot sauce & famous midwetern sauerkraut balls (baked, not fried!).

My cakes for the forum party are now baked and I have theme stored safely for the big event to get all the brandy soaking in. I grabbed the Christmas tablecloth out of storage too and will have it ready for the day. The gift is for the person that did the best in the Christmas challenge so i thought the party would be the best place to make the announcement. Not sure how we will work that out who the winner is but i guess people can nominate from the forum.

Any special requests for particular cocktails or shall I put it to the vote again?

I'm sure there was another thread started a month or two ago for this year's party and I remember volunteering to prepare the veggies. A bit boring but I find cutting up vegetables therapeutic - as long as someone will keep me supplied with the cocktails. :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink: :drink:
I'll be wearing my best frock and a party hat too. Has anyone agreed yet to make the hats? I could give a hand with them, I have lots of ideas for silly hats. Heheee

I have merged the two topics...
@coffeetime..you saying about wearing yr best frock cheered me up...as its a virtual party i' ll be wearing a slinky little size 10 number!
@rawkaren wd be fun to vote like last year x
