Delighted or Disappointed?

68 posts Page 1 of 5
I started 5 2 in January at 199lbs and I'm now 159lbs.
At my eventual target weight of 10st 10lbs (150lbs) that will be a 25% weight loss.

Delighted would be an understatement.
How much have you lost, as expressed as a percentage of your start weight?

Edited to say my initial start weight was 15st 3lb, 213lbs pre 5 2. I am now maintaining at 142/43lbs. Not bad, eh?

I merged these since they appeared to be identical :-)

Congratulations - that's fantastic progress!!!

Thanks Tracie. It didn't appear at first, so I redid it - and then of course, it appeared! Can you delete one of them?

And I moved the thread out of inspirational weight loss stories because only mods can comment on threads in that board and so people would not be able to answer the question about % weightloss.

Hope you don't mind us mods cleaning, dusting and tidying around you...;-)

Penny, it's the end of a Fast day and you expect me to do sums!!!

I think I've lost a bit over 20% of my start weight (175lbs in january under 140lbs now) My revised target of 133lb will mean a loss of 24% -that's quite a lot really

Caro I'll lift my feet next time I see you lurking with a Hoover - Thanks to you and all the Mods and especially to Moogie

I've lost 11% :like:
Hadn't thought to calculate it, and am rather pleased!

Your 20% is fantastic, a real achievment. Well done!

Wow, didn't realise we had our own cleaners. That's cheered me up no end. My weight loss is not worth working out as a percentage yet, but I feel great and I just love seeing you pros doing fabulously. Go 5.2 ers. Yay

Never actually done the calculation before. So I've lost 16% so far which is probably an arms worth. By the time I get to target it will be 24% which I recon is a leg. I'm impressed.

Oooh what a lovely thread :)

I've lost 17.8% of my start weight :)

Or to look at an even more impressive way, to get back up to my start weight from where I am now, I'd need to put on 20.6% of my current weight to get back to where I was :like: :like:

I will need to lose 14% of my initial weight when I get to my target, which by following Wildmissus analogy may be the equivalent of two boobs (initial boobs that is)

If we were all in a room together, there would be a person missing!
