Non Scale Victory
01 Oct 2014, 07:26
Hi FD
I get so caught up with what the scale says that I have decided to concentrate on
Non-scale victories. My first non-scale victory is my wedding band is loose. "Oh What A Feeling".

Absolutely the right way to go @faith!

These things never lie: rings, waistbands, sleeves (I had a problem with tight upper arm fitting clothes before I started 5:2 - now it is much less of a problem!) tape measures.

Scales can be sooo fickle! Totally agree with your post and very good luck to you!

Ooh, I like NSV threads - can this be the official NSV thread? They're so cheerful and it's sometimes funny to see what's happening to people that someone reports and then everyone else chimes in - I remember a spate of NSVs triggered by someone mentioning that she needed new shoes because all of her usual ones were now so wide that they kept falling off her feet.

Yes, let's make it official!

Re shoes, that has happened to me. I've gone down a shoe size!

NSV's, they're the truth of how our bodies are responding to our efforts to lose weight and they don't tease us like scales are known to do.

It was probably me with the shoes. At the moment its my back bra size going down but not the boobs so I'm an F cup now, in a smaller bra.

Not weighed and feeling a little garage balloonish.
Beloved got a new camera and took a photie of me with a banana fosters tart tat in (to tease non diving daughter with) and I have slender shoulders with shape at the top where my arm goes in- DEFINITION! YAYHAY

So after posting about my loose wedding band, I woke up this morning with no ring. Found it under the bed. Heha, couldn'tstop laughing, made my day.

My first NSV was the back fat disappearing, then the general aches and pains lessened. Now I don't have a double chin. I really should update my avatar, the one I have has me sticking my chin out so you don't see my double chin  .

Well done! Being able to take my wedding ring off is one of my goals - it has been wedged on now for several years which does worry me at times!
