Hi Caroline, I will survive this minor disappointment, and stride out over the 5 mile walk via the pub for Fish and Chips at lunchtime
Mmmmmm fish and chips.
Oh dear......I can smell the vinegar from here. :starving:
I'm rejoining the FitBit chat, please. I'd like to be fitter for pooch walking and we have set ourselves some decent walks to achieve in the summer, round the Anglesey coastal path

Hey Penny, you're already with us.. Does that mean you will be travelling up that there leaderboard. Watch out Tim's got a new treadmill and wants to challenge. :dazed:
I forgot to wear my fitbit today  arghhh!
Umleila - that's great news about your mom noticing!

Pennyforthem - welcome back!

Well you all may be seeing my steps way down - I came down with gastoenteritis -- so two unplanned fast days this week and nearly zero steps. I'm hoping to feel better soon. Attempting some chicken bouillon right now and hoping for the best.

Loving the treadmill - obviously couldn't use it this week while away for work but I got home last night only having done 2000 steps - an hour later 10000 completed for the day!

I put my phone on the treadmill in the drink holder opened to the fitbit app and watch my steps count up as I go lol
Thank you Tracieknits and I hope you get better soon. I had gastroenteritis once and it was a very nasty experience, Take it easy.

My steps and active minutes are down too as expected at the moment.

Tbreweton I love doing that while I'm doing my flights of stairs!
@TBrewerton where are you :?:
I am just a tad happy as now heading towards the top 10 for active mins.
Just one run and three exercise classes gig me there, oh and going back to work part time.
:victory:
Sorry Yesterday I was off busy loosing another 700grams.... I really don't know where it went but cant be bothered looking for it haha!

Must admit my energy levels were way down yesterday (third ADF fast day) I am going to have to really start increasing my protein uptake I think.

This week will be another story as I am working from home and will have time for a bit more exercise. But not sure I will make it as high as you
Tim
Yes I find 4.3 hard, but ADF well hats off to you for that.

My inlaws are heading your way (Auckland) to visit their daughter, my sis in law in two weeks. I must admit that I'm worried about them as they're not getting younger, it's a tough trip.
Have a good week.
Ha! I just saw where you are from... I am from Cambridge in NZ lol

Yea that's a big trip alright - need to make sure they get up and move regularly.

Hope you have a great week too!
Well I've blown my spot on the leaderboard for January. I got gastroenteritis for three days and in those three days took fewer steps than I normally take in 1 day >.<

Good news is I'm feeling fine again, and I'm down 6.6 pounds!! I know that's temporary, but fitbit is reporting over a 6k calorie deficit this week, even counting all of the sugary drinks and sports drinks I had to fight the dehydration. I tried eating breakfast and was stuffed about half way through, so my stomach is shrunk as well.

I may ease back in with a 6K or 7k day instead of going straight back to 10K - we'll see.
I'm going to lose my prime position of 27 on the leader board - I'm in bed recovering from surgery. My fitbit showed 520 steps yesterday, yay. Aiming for 700 today!!

I'm never gonna catch up with you folks but will work out vicariously through you for the next few weeks :-)

Ooh now that's really spooky. @TBrewerton
We passed through 25 yrs ago, on our way down to the south Island. We stayed north last time, as only there for 10 days.

@tracieknits I hope you've recovered, it can wipe you out for a while that one. I spent two days in hospital because of that little nasty, in Corfu, on my holidays.

@jeninboston Oh Jenny, hope you're ok. I've just come back from a 7 week surgery enforced "rest" I definitely get my happy juice from exercise. Hope your not off your feet for too long luv.,
