Hellooo SecondAlto! :like: :like:
Hi everyone :). I'm new here, todays my 3rd fasting day. Finding it difficult at this time (17.40 atm!), as I have done before. Have lunch, and then aim to eat dinner late-ish (7.30-8) as I cant sleep when im hungry. Had soup for lunch - trying quinoa for the first time for tea! With quorn fillet and salad. Going to keep going and keep fingers crossed :)
Week 6, day 11... HUNGRY!!
Usual monday fast here too.
Again I seem to have a headache........strange for me as im drinking well. It could be lack of sleep I suppose. I am being really focused this week as I have 2lb to lose to make my total loss 4stone and want to surprise my daughter next weekend as she hasnt seen me for 2 months. So I will be focused on my fast days as usual and my feast days aswell as my exercise. Happy fasting to everyone :-)
Today is my 5th fast day. I'm a bit discouraged as I weighed self this morning, and I haven't lost any weight since I started. I will give it another couple of weeks, but today was hard, was on interminable training day, stomach rumbling away, couldn't concentrate, and couldn't sample the delicious looking biscuits. Have just had a chicken and mushroom omelette and salad, so feel a bit better now. Not sure how long I can keep this up without any result to show for it!

Hey Sue

Try weighing yourself AFTER a fast day. I do my official weigh in after the second fast of the week (friday morning for me) and ignore all other numbers. My weight can fluctuate about 1.5kg during the week but since my official weight is showing a generally downward trend I am happy!
The fast day went well despite the grey day. My OH & I have just eaten our supper from the M&S fuller longer range which was Chicken & Chilli Prawn Pad Thai all for 385 calories & was absolutely delicious & highly recommended.
Well, I was in but I got invited to have lunch with friends that I have not seen in a long time. I started debating whether I should just drink tea or coffee while they ate but decided to just move my fast day to tomorrow. After all, flexibility is one of the main reasons I love this WOE! :) So see you tomorrow for my first fast of the week.
Hello all, I'm here and fasting as usual! I'm very consistent :)

I'm glad to be in such great Monday company.... after a weekend of delights, it's time to coast through with tea, and think about all the healing and resting going on in my body!

:clover: everyone.
I've had quite a good day! Didn't even think about it actually. Slim Soup is brilliant to have for lunch! Only 55kcal! And some coffee to keep me going.
Now it's dinner time with loads of vegs and some chicken.

I do look forward to delicious home made oat granola, seed, berries and fat free greek yoghurt tomorrow though... :D

Hi
I'm in today. Am kicking myself though as I accidentally had 200 more calories than I intended. I bought a pre-packed salad as partner is out tonight and I didn't fancy cooking for one. Misread the calories - thought the amount on the front was for one pack rather than half. It'd be very easy now for me to throw in the towel and then eat a pound of chocolate. But I won't. I'll just see this as a semi-fast as I don't want to feel I have to find another fast day and nor do I want to bust this day completely.
Phew just about to go to bed after managing my Monday fast. Last Thursday was the first fast in 8 months that I have given up on. I was a little worried that I would fail today too but it has been back to normal.
I am still holding out, have had nothing to eat since Hotel breakfast although my tummy is rumbling. I did my couch 2 5k and went to Zumba. The Zumba teacher dropped a bombshell tonight as she is giving up the classes. I live in a very small village so no chance of anyone else coming to do it. I will really miss it as it was a great help in passing the fast evening.
