You folks are waaaaay ahead of me. It's 8 pm Sunday here.

Fasting tomorrow for the first time. A little worried - I hope I can do it.

Good luck to everyone!

I'm in! Busy day here so it will be green tea, peaches and miso, with canned soup for dinner. Happy fasting, everyone.
Hi everyone!
I'm back from my laps- done in nice sunshine this morning!
I've had rels up from Melbourne for the w/e- lovely. So I'm also definitely in with clear fluids till dinner of stir fry veges followed by fruit and maybe a Weiss rasberry sorbet bar.
I may need to be a bit more aware of my TDE this week as I seem to have stayed the same weight for a week or so.
Mind you the Frangipane tart I made this w/e wouldn't have helped- but it was very yummy!
I don't think that it's a bad thing to even out a bit a few times along the way so I'm not worried as long as I start to lose a bit more again soonish.
Wishing you all a good fast
Well, this is my first fast as well as my first post..... It's after lunch here in Aus & I'm spreading my 500 calories throughout the day..... Looks quite different to most of the posts I've read so far - most seem to save up for dinner!
Here's a run down of my day so far:
I had Oxtshred on waking (a fat burner), coffee with almond milk an hour later, did 55 minutes Body Combat (cardio), had an apple & green tea for morning tea, then a late lunch of two Sanz (like SAO), with one tomato & 95g tin of tuna.... 340 calories down. I plan to have my home made pumpkin soup and maybe a boiled egg for tea for a total of 500 calories.
Hopefully I'm starting on the right track!
Welcome to the forum Shopperdeb24! :)
Welcome Shopperdeb24,

What most will tell you is the most important thing on a fast day is organization, and it sounds like you have it well sorted!

Congrats on your start and good luck for the rest of the day - That is the beauty of this WOL/WOE is there is no one set way it HAS to be done. Make it work for you and enjoy it :-)

Coming up 4pm here in NZ, was suppose to be working this morning but my job got cancelled so will need to go in tonight to make up some ground. Not looking forward to working the evening of a fast day so will be interesting how that goes. (glad I saved all my calories though as i'm gonna want them all before I start this evening lol)
I'm making pumpkin soup now. It has bacon and cream in it and I just did the My Fitness Pall check and it comes in about 450 calories, add my miso soup and I come in at 470 something calories. This is one of the good things about saving calories until dinner, you can use bacon and cream in the soup!Welcome Shopperdeb24. You'll work it out.
I'm changing my normal Monday to Tuesday this week as I've had a nice lunch out with DH. Going to make the week feel strange.
I am in. 2nd fast since my long summer break. Just had lunch. Fish, tomato and spinach curry (recipe on this forum). Will have some roasted garlic and cauliflower soup (ditto) and more fish and salad tonight to make up my 500 calories. Looking forward to tomorrow!
I'm in! :like:
How annoying to wake up at 6am on a fast day though! It's going to make the day long ( I usually have a lie-in while DBH has breakfast).
Off to my writers' group this morning, but feeling guilty as I've written nothing this week. It's a good start to the week though- keeping occupied is the main route to a successful fast day.
Good luck everyone! :clover:
Count me in.

Ate FAR too much at a birthday party yesterday. Really hacked off as I had only just reached my target weight & I wanted to stay there for a week :(
Not weighing myself this morning, I don't want to know :(
I'm in today as well, have finally seen some more change in my weight so I'm very motivated. Tried to have only one meal - at evening - last week and that worked well so I'm sticking to that.
The cup of miso soup is now empty! :starving: I often feel hungry at 3 pm. Although I'm pleased: I managed brekky at a hotel with my family and had just tastes. No pangs to speak of while my family ate fully from the breakfast bar.

I drank tea. So, now, I'm wondering what to eat from the fridge: lentils, a boiled egg, rice perhaps? I'll compare it with some pictures of 500 cals/2000kj. That'll help to keep the peace with my afternoon willpower.
My intentions this morning are good, I am in the fasting zone today, however I am off to London with my daughter and friends today, then off to a show tonight. If I cave, I cave but don't see why I should. Will have a 500cal meal sometime during the day, guess I'll have to give the show interval ice cream a miss :(
Feeling quite pleased with myself so far.... 5.15pm and I've stuck with it all day! About to have my pumpkin soup & boiled egg in the next hour or so.. Lets just hope I can get through the evening without folding! I do feel a bit 'spaced out' though this arvo
