Hello everyone, I am fasting today too. Actually, this would be my 3rd fast day but I haven't lost anyweight at all!! Very disappointed :starving: I have a lot to lose and I had my hopes up, but I will keep going. Need some support guys!!! Could my period starting yesterday the culprit of no loss show on my scale this morning?
Welcome to the forum crazycat! And absolutely your period starting could be the reason your scale isn't showing a loss! Give yourself a few more fasts, there is alot of fluid re-balancig going on the first month of this WoE (way of eating). :)
I'm in! First fast day today and the preparation has definitely worked! Been on my black coffee this morning and had a weak Marmite 'tea' around lunchtime at work - that's an interesting drink that I've never had before today!
Final hour or so to push and then I can enjoy an omelette and salad for dinner with my family :-)
Marmite tea?? Is that just marmite in hot water? I love marmite, will have to give it a try
Hi all new and veteran fasters!

This weekend was great and involved fried chicken, Cadburys, Chipotle (US) and a few other nice things. Still got my workouts in both days and lost 3.2 lbs this week after stalling last week :victory:
First fast of the week (4:3) so I'm hoping that the weekend rolls around soon :bugeyes:
Tracy22 - yep just a 1/4 teaspoon of marmite in hot water! I don't have Bovril in my cupboard and need to scour the German shops for it!
In today. Have felt a bit hungry, but manageable.

Cake left from the weekend calls to me, but I WILL resist. I can eat it tomorrow.

Yes am fasting today... I have spent the day dreaming of when I can change to 6:1 (not for a while yet I fear!). However, it has gone better than last Friday, when I crashed for the first time and had to top up the cals!

Fasting today. Skipped breakfast and don't plan to eat a snack until 3PM. Am going to do 4:3 this week as I'm leaving town on Sunday and I'm not sure what days I'll be able to fast next week.

Hello! I'm in again today. My usual Monday fast... tea all day - dinner is fish and veg. :clover: :)
I'm back from vacation, and today is my first full day of fasting. I did some days of mild calorie restriction to get back in the habit last week.

It's going well, but I'm hungry! I also have not been able to concentrate or motivate myself to do any work today.

All in all, I think the vacation, including from fasting, did me good, because I do feel more positive and hopeful about 5:2, and less obsessive than before my break.
