Yes count me in today I'm determined to fit in 3 full 24hr fasts this week
because I've let things slip a little lately :clover: Sue
I'm in today also.
I'm in today. Hit my target weight one day last week then bounced back up again!! I work at school so on holiday at the moment and was a bit worried that it would be a struggle without the structure of work but so far have managed. Lots to do today :)
Hi! I'm in today :) This is my second week of 6:1 maintenance mode. So far, so good.
i'm in as well, and hopefully with better results than after my last two fasts :( Did a 4;3 last week en gained 1 kg after the 2nd and 3rd fast ..bummer
I'm in today.
Sallyo's pumpkin soup sounds lovely...
I shall be having the trusty standby of LOTS of cucumber with (bell) pepper, tomato, celery and any other salad bits in fridge, with a tin of mackerel fillets in spicy tomato sauce tipped over them. Not very sophisticated, but very easy, plenty to chew on, and it usually comes in at about 360 calories, and then I'll have some strawberries or cherries.
I tend to drink just water, with one evening drink with some milk in at bedtime.
Hope everyone has a good day today. :clover:
Yep. I'm in too.

First fast after holiday so looking forward to getting back into a routine again.

Nothing but liquids till salmon with salad this evening.

Good luck everyone.

Hi everyone, I had a go at this back in April/May time and did 7 fasts in total. My problem was that I over ate on the non fast days.

I am desperate to lose 5lbs as I have a dress I need to get into on 7 September for a wedding - so here I am again!

I think in order not to fail like last time I will have to count calories on the non fast days on my fitness pal - not sure how many to have though - if anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful. If I was going to try to lose weight through calorie counting alone I would go for 1200 a day - although I did 5 days of that last week and didn't lose a bean! (well I lie, I'd lost 2lb by day 3 but it was back on by day 6)! I'm not good at sticking to it for long enough

So today is my first fast day on my new regime - I am going to drink hot water with lemon through the morning and then have home made pepper and tomato soup at lunchtime (made it yesterday), and then chicken and salad for supper.

I'm in. one week to my holiday so I won't be fasting next week, unless cocktails and cake count;)
Why am I so much hungrier on some fast days than others? Is it what I eat the day before? No change in exercise of anything like that.
I'm on for another fantastic fasting day. I'm just so thrilled to have heard about this way of losing weight. I feel so empowered at the end of each fasting day and even though it can be hard at times I know it's soooo worth it!

Keep the faith everyone :like:
I'm in; feeling hungrier than normal this morning, possibly because main meal yesterday was late afternoon rather than evening. Sipping ginger tea now, hope that will help.

Cags, what calories does the progress tracker calculator give you? Mine gives just over 500 for a fast day and just over 2000 for a non fast day so I try to stay under those (sometimes under, sometimes over the 2000 calories; typically under on weekdays and over at weekends which I guess balances out).
Well that's Mondays fast complete for me with a couple of calories to spare...

Off to bed it is :-) good luck everyone!
Hi all

Back to fasting for me after not doing one for the last fortnight. Over the weekend I've really gone to town on bread/flour based food - all of it delicious and much of it homemade! - but it has left me feeling a little overfull at times and today I woke up ravenous. 10am and have had a coffee with milk. I am probably going to have a stir fry of green beans from my mum's garden, courgettes from mine (first proper veg I've ever grown apart from herbs and chillis!) and maybe some prawns from the freezer. The frozen berries and yogurt I often have on a fast day will be either eaten after my main meal or mid afternoon if I'm caving in. I usually save 70 calories now for a couple of small oatcakes to have at bedtime to help prevent the rumbles keeping me awake.

Blimey I wish it was tomorrow already - I'm so out of practise!
Not today because of going out to tea this afternoon! But will be in tomorrow although also have a dental check up then :frown:
