Getting hair done later so that should kill a few hours.
Stay hydrated! (That's a note mostly to myself )
Strange to think of you guys in crazy heat, i was in my coat and gloves in class today x
Starving now though...most likely because I ate too early. Going to get a lemon and ginger tea and take the dog round the block
I had a good brisk 2 hour walk with my OH this morning and happily we managed to dodge the hail showers
Weather here in the west coast of Scotland is dull and miserable and chilly too. Can't wait for brighter days and milder weather ; today I didn't venture out as it was so wet . ( however pouring over a newly- acquired recipe book probably wasn't a good idea on a Fast Day !!! )

Yes I am one of those who positively thrives on cooler temperatures. It's not so cold where I am that you can't be outside without getting frostbite, but I do like a good brisk walk which is just impossible in sweltering heat.
Another fast day nearly done, hubby's out climbing tonight so just cleaned out the fridge with a leftover half tin of chickpeas in some leftover homemade tomato pasta sauce with shredded savoy cabbage and a dollop of harissa paste and 1 rasher of farm shop bacon over the top. Yum - no idea on calorie count but the only other thing I've had today was a rich tea biscuit at about 3.30 when I was starting to feel a bit light headed and strange. A spoonful or 2 of mango & vanilla yogurt has finished off my day.
I ate a huge amount over the weekend - home made pizza, venison casserole and a veritable mountain of fish & chips last night so my scales told me this morning that I had put back on the 3lb I felt so smug about losing last week. Oh well, it was kind of worth it!!
