I've had a good fast today, off to bed soon now.
YAY I did it. Off to bed (yes I know it's early haha) so that means when I wake up it's eating time again :)
Another successful fast day has now been accomplished for me (although technically, that fast won't actually be broken until I eat my first meal of tomorrow). I posted my first comment on this thread last night at a time when I didn't know whether I would be doing 5:2 or 6:1 this week as that depended on the results of this morning's weigh-in. In the end, that confirmed my switch to weight maintenance and to 6:1 which means that I won't now have any more fasting days this week (I may however, end up throwing in a restricted calorie or 16:8 day somewhere though, if I end up gaining too much weight as the week wears on).

Anyway, today's fasting day went well and all that I had to eat today was two slices of ham with some scrambled eggs for lunch, followed by a bag of salad with a little bit of grilled fish and a tomato for my evening meal. Since this morning's weigh-in as a daily weigh-in showed the effects of the preceding feeding day on my weight (I had expected a weight gain, which didn't come, thereby giving another cause for celebration), it is tomorrow morning's weigh-in which will tell me how much (mostly water) weight I have lost with today's fast.

In the meantime, I am now just about to go to bed after a good day's work (in terms of my fast, and also in terms of the Aquafit class which I was at this morning).
Yay! Made it through today. It was tough a couple of times, but I had some coffee & that seemed to really help. Will enjoy my days until Thursday, but not too much :)
