Wow! Theres a lot of people fasting today. Good luck @lak on your second ever fast. How did you get on with your first fast?!

Well, here I am back in the saddle. Having bean away for 2 weeks and being naughty prior to that I now have 11 pounds to shift. Well, I say 11, its already gone down to 9 pounds so hopefully it won't take me TOO long to get back to where I was before

M&S meal tonight. Thats all. Oh yes, thats all!!

Can't wait

Bean
Just off to bed, having managed with vege chilli for dinner (Jamie Oliver),Lots of spinach and 25 g cheese just now. Yay! for successful fasting days, even when things go a bit pear-shaped in other ways.

Happy fasting, everyone who's not in Aus or NZ or Japan etc (and therefore has a few hours to go). Hope you're successful too!
yup im fasting today. im still new to this i only started last thursday lol but im planning on doing a mon-wed-friday fast this week. nearly halfway through the day and not feeling too bad yet considering ive been up and awake since 6.30am
reading all your weight loss success stories is spurring me on
Well, that's another fast done. Off to bed shortly, just waiting for the electric blanket to do its thing. Good luck to those still fasting.
Successfully finished. I have found that a handful of nuts at lunchtime seems to keep me going through the rest of the day. Most odd! Not complaining though as. I may have found something that works to get me through the day!
Good luck anyone setting out today!
I'm in today. After 2 non fastdays my weight has stayed the same as last weigh in so fingers crossed for a good loss this week. Hoping for my lowest weight on this WOE.
Happy fasting all :)
I'm in as usual today. I voluteered to run the pub quiz I go to tomorrow so that has kept me occupied till now.No more excuses for going in the garden now - not at all warm in the East Midlands. Thinking about doing a chorizo and prawn fritata for dinner tonight - had the recipe for a while but never made it.
I am having visitors today so will not be able to do my usual Monday fast. I have however not eaten anything yet and hope to go to my usual 7pm the only difference is I will have a far higher calorie dinner than I would usually have on a Monday. Hope you are all having a good easy fast today.
Fasting today too! Trying to get back on the road of perfect fastdays after last weeks two half hearted attempts.
I am still very new, today will be my 6th fast since I started on 30th May.
Anyone tried a teaspoon of cider vinegar in a glass of water to take the hungry feeling away? seems to help me (or is it all in my head!)
well, wonders never cease. Mom's staying w/us the next couple of weeks & asked me again what I was eating for breakfast. I took a deep breath & said "with my Dr's approval, I don't eat breakfast during the week, I eat between 12-8, & two days a week I eat very low calorie & low carb. I've lost 25# since November." Without missing a beat, she said "well, I'm glad you finally found something that works for you." THAT WAS IT! No objections or arguments, no lecturing on the importance of breakfast, nothin...so, I guess it was all in my head & I shouldn't have needlessly worried about it - isn't that always the way? :victory:
Have a great rest of the day.
Hi @hari_b and welcome to the forum. I think it's all in your head, sorry :) . The hunger will pass after a few minutes anyway, well that's what I've found.
My fastday is going well, not been hungry today and I'll be ready for the late night munchies monster tonight. This is going to be a good week. :)
That's great to hear @MLCDz . May be your mum has read a few things about not eating breakfast/fasting lately too, , after all we all used to think we had to eat breakfast and eat regularly throughout the day. Now we know better.
Well done you Fasting Finishers!
For the rest of us - keep on keeping on!
I' m about to have a slimmasoup..later on, ham and veggies.
MaryLynn @MLCDz sooo glad your mum didn't react badly!
Welcome @hari_b Hope today goes well fr you! X
Joining you all today in the fast - but jealous that most of your are all done already! I still have most of the day left to go!

I'm going to a Game of Thrones finale viewing party tonight (a day late - no spoilers from anyone who watches!) so I am trying to not eat anything until then so I can feel a bit normal :) Just had a cup of Skinny Choco Latte tea. Not bad, and helps put something in my stomach without any calories!

Looking forward to tomorrow already - going to a nice dinner out with my boyfriend and parents as part of a Father's Day gift - yay!
What a fabulous smile you have@swissmissus x!
Enjoy the party and dindins tomozz xx
