Phew, I survived and I did so well that I managed to squeeze in a lovely peach yogurt.
The session at the gym went badly though. Headache, lack of sleep and fasting ended up with me feeling queasy in the gym. I usually do so well on fasting days, I just couldn't today. There are times when you just can't be bothered to exercise, but a bit of a mental shove and you end up being glad you did. There are other times when you just can't exercise because of illness or injury or even just a headache and those are the times when you listen to your body and stop. Today was a stop day. Early to bed, well for me anyway and hopefully no car alarms in the morning.
I've got just 3 more hours to go here on the US west coast, but I feel calm and collected and didn't even have my usual chicken broth (5 cals) for lunch today. I can now go through a fast day forgetting that I am fasting -- amazing, isn't it!
You did the right thing @Julieathome. I think this WOE really helps us to listen to our body. It sounds like you had exhausting night. I hope you both get some pain free sleep tonight.
@Wineoclock how's your son. Did he soldier on and make his performance?
I fasted well and had an early 5 pm dinner of homemade chicken soup made with roasted organic chicken legs and 9 vegetables. It was sublime if I do say so myself. Probably because I'm getting over a little cold and that's just what you feel like when you're sick.
Thanks to @SallyO advice about the Ease a cold tablets this cold has been minor.
Happy fasting! I'm off to lunch with my best friend to a local TAFE restaurant where the hospitality students cook main and dessert for $15!

Well DS made it through the shows tech run last night, he got in late so I haven't seen him yet, think he will sleep,the day away.
@julianna the show starts on Wednesday and runs to Sunday at Panthers Evan theatre if you need a laugh. The BMMS shows are always a good time. Also my son gets his head chopped off what more could a mother ask for :lol: :lol:
@chichi13 and @nursebean I love GOT too, tv is show is great but the books are even better.
Made it to dinner, still have 160 cals left for bedtime snack if I want it. 4th day of walking at the park...gradually getting faster, will add distance as I get stronger. G'night, fellow fasters!
