Forgot to say - the pulled pork was cooked (and will be served) with no barbecue sauce. Just a spice rub, onions, clove of garlic, red vinegar (not much) and water. And it is yummy beyond belief  , if you keep in in the fridge a couple of days it get even better.
Anyone want the recipe, just holler.
I am in today, so far coffee and may eat a half an apple left by my DD. Then water and probably some herbal tea until dinner. I have some cooked veggies and will complement with some protein or I may prepare some lentil soup, will see.
I'm a Monday girl. 2nd f/day and feeling great. Just water and green tea until this evening when I'm having a chicken salad, yum :) Hope everyone's having/had a great fast day <3

We got our wedding DVD delivery, so will be settling down to watch that tonight, planning on roasting some chickpeas as a nibble to enjoy while we do that, or I might just have a little slice of wholemeal toast instead...
I'm in today - and struggling. The house is full of sweets and chocolate after my daughter's birthday party. I spent the weekend clearing dishes and as much went in my mouth as in the bin. I've resisted so far...

Wolfie, I would love the recipe for the pulled pork. That sounds fab!
Sounds like torture @Hourglass! :starving:

I'm in today and have been really busy, so it's been a good one. Tummy is now really rumbling, so reckon it's time to sort out some food. I'm having a sort of ratatouille gratin with a few green beans. OH is having leftovers from yesterday's roast. Sorted!

The pulled pork sounds delish! How about posting the recipe in the food section @Wolfie? :eat:
I have just made a cake for work tomorrow and it was torture not being able to taste it, I love licking the cake spoon!! And it smells divine in the oven!
On the plus side it is one of those cakes that needs to cool completely before coming out of the tin and being eaten so that will probably be tomorrow now and it will be even better!!
I'm in here in NY. Good to fast after an indulgent weekend!

My hands are freezing though. Energy flagged a bit, but perking up with a sparkling water with lots of lemon.

Looking forward to a big protein-filled salad at dinner!
I'm in today and I'm feeling hungry at the moment so I popped in to the forum for support and encouragement.

Feeling more hungry because I've eaten more sugary crap over the weekend than usual. We have house guests and we attended a wedding over the weekend. Bad combo as there were many foods and drinks I don't usually have on the menu. Scale has had an upswing (which I expected, but still hate) and now I have to do the work to get things back on track.
Oh dear it went well today with only fluids & then calorie counted meatballs & spaghetti but I underestimated the calories from stewed plums & natural yoghurt & then completely blew it with eating a nectarine :curse:
 I'm in! After eating biscuits and gravy on Saturday at lunch and bone marrow at dinner I've definitely earned today as a fasting day. The good news is that since starting in April of this year I am down a total of 7# to 111. I am going for 110 (or should I overshoot that in anticipation of the way I eat on the weekends?) so I'm almost there. I tried the Belly Fat diet, but couldn't stick with it because it was so restrictive on sugar. And, I was afraid one of my dogs would eat the xylitol it wants you to use and get poisoned. If you've done that diet you know what I'm talking about.

The only downside I can think of is that my pants are now slightly too large and baggy.
Hi all

I've fasted today and I also did Friday which bookended my weekend nicely, although in 2 days I did manage to gain 2lb. Hoping it's just food weight that will be gone by the morning. Have been feeling a bit glum about not really losing anything for quite a while now (the same 2lb coms off during the week then goes straight back on over the weekend - and I'm not going overboard, just 'normal' with the odd treat), but hubby assured me he's noticed a difference each week (although didn't point it out until I was grumbling!!) and I wore some trousers I hadn't had on for a while at the weekend and they felt almost baggy. So hopefully its my body changing shape, even if its keeping the same weight.

Isis - I read your comment about 'blowing it' expecting you to have caved in and eaten loads of chocolate after your meal, but no, you 'blew it' with a nectarine! I know they're not the lowest cal of fruits (saving my peach for tomorrow) but I'm sure it's one of the better ways to blow a fast day. I'm sure it hasn't made any difference.
Just a quick post to say.... "I'm in today!"
