justdee wrote: That's my thinking too @chichi13. I'm not eating anything else tonight so really I'm already fasting and when I wake up in the morning, I'll already have a good few hours under my belt that I will not want to spoil. It sounds right in my head anyway. haha Happy fasting all.
Dee

exactly!! :like:
I will hopefully be Joining you all in the morning. I do however feel like I have a virus brewing, so will wait and see. Off to bed now early it's 10.10 pm. Can't remember the last time I was ill. Pre summer I think! Back to work tomorrow after a pleasant half term off.
A bit coldy but I'm in today too. Went to the gym for the first time in months on Sat and lifted heavy weights, have been unable to move since. Such a good feeling!!
Almost forgot to check in, fasting has come to be so normal. Have a good one!
I'm here too!
Had a "Blip" last week and didn't fast on Thurs or Friday- only the 3rd or 4th time I've missed since I started!
My sister was visiting, -too much wine and food, and now my niece, hubby and baby are coming tmrw for a few days  so I really need to fast well today!
I've been for my swim- it's actually pretty chilly in Sydney today.
Having a black coffee now and then must get some work done.
Wishing everyone a good day.
I 'm here! Just wrote a long post and lost it! Slept in today. I like sleeping on on fast days: with no breakfast there's nothing to get up for!! However, I have now made a good list of jobs to do to keep myself busy and my mind off food. Have taken some porterhouse steak out of the freezer to have with salad for tea. OH and I have made a start on the Sunday Age Giant across word. Here's a clue for you. I know it, but can't bring it to mind: 9 letters: what is the mixture used in Italian cooking consisting of chopped lemon rind, garlic and parsley? Now it's off to the garden to pick flowers for the house, snow peas, asparagus and possibly broad beans.
Is it pesto Sallyo?

Yum, I love the sound of your garden.
It has been so windy in Sydney the last few weeks our garden is suffering.
We do have a few cherry tomatoes and some beans in.
9 letters, Gigi, and parsley, not Basil, although I have heard of parsley pesto.
@Sallyo, Gremolta?
They are cooking curry up the road from work again, I will have to do with coffee. Hope everyone is having a good fast so far.
That'd be a gremolata Sallyo!

I love a crossword :-)

I'm in with all you lovely monday fasters.

Nothing buy coffee and miso for me until a hamburger for dinner tonight.

I'm looking at my calendar thinking that the season of feasting has really begun... thank goodness I've found a way to manage this!
Third atttempt to post. @Sallyo is it Gremolta
I'm in today. I woke up hungry so I need to get into the right frame of mind.
Soup for lunch and dinner today.
Good luck everyone!
@Sallyo I keep trying to post, is it Gremolta (bet youve got it by now)
honeybee74 wrote: Not one that usually posts, but normal Monday fast for me; mind and body quite used to this now so it's just normal, I don't even think of it as fasting anymore!

That's how I feel too HB!

It's been a somewhat chilly morning but the sun is breaking through now, I'm hoping to get some gardening done after I've vacuumed the house... Have a good day everyone!
