That's how I feel too HB!

It's been a somewhat chilly morning but the sun is breaking through now, I'm hoping to get some gardening done after I've vacuumed the house... Have a good day everyone!
That'd be gremolata Sallyo!

I'm joining all you marvellous monday fasters.

Plenty of feasting for me over the weekend... and looking at the calendar, it's defintely looking like weeks ahead of feasting to come... how good is it to have found a way to manage this time of year! :-)

Sallyo wrote: I 'm here! Just wrote a long post and lost it! Slept in today. I like sleeping on on fast days: with no breakfast there's nothing to get up for!! However, I have now made a good list of jobs to do to keep myself busy and my mind off food. Have taken some porterhouse steak out of the freezer to have with salad for tea. OH and I have made a start on the Sunday Age Giant across word. Here's a clue for you. I know it, but can't bring it to mind: 9 letters: what is the mixture used in Italian cooking consisting of chopped lemon rind, garlic and parsley? Now it's off to the garden to pick flowers for the house, snow peas, asparagus and possibly broad beans.

Funny, I couldn't remember that the other day when I saw the clue. Like you, I knew that I knew it but just couldn't remember it. But as soon as I saw your post I knew it was gremolata. Everything is still "in there" I just have difficulty with my file retrieval!
Some problems with the site this morning?

Any-who... fasting today. AND there was some movement on the scales this morning - at last. Very happy, particularly considering my little binge on cheese last night.
I'm in today. Don't think 8've ever done a Monday ;)
Have a good one everyone :clover:

First time I've been able to get on the forum since this morning, something is up with it and has been for the last few days. Aarrrgh!
Be glad when today's fast is over as I am freezing cold and my cold is getting worse, yuck.
I'm in too, after a 'half term' week of normal eating.
Better keep busy as my body would like breakfast now!
Have a good day fellow fasters!
I'm in! Half term not quite over yet for us - Inset day today. Going to take the boys to the historic Dockyard so should be busy. Mackeral and salad for tea - yummy!
