Morning Fellow Fasters
I am in today too I have some Spicy Butternut Squash soup for lunch and some smoked haddock for tea. Pleased to say i am finally below the weight i was before my holiday so back on target to reach my goal by Christmas waaay! :victory:
Hope you feel better soon Moogie

Happy fastings folks. :clover:
I'm in today! Haven't fasted since Wednesday so I'm ready to give the belly a break! Sticking with soup and lots of hot tea, it's chilly today! Good luck everyone!
I'm in! First fast for 2 weeks as was travelling. Very happy to be back on the wagon!
Count me in too my usual Monday. Oh my goodness I hope you all get over your colds and bugs soon, you all had me running for my Vit C tablets I don't want to get a cold. I am on week 8 of Couch 2 5 K the programme lasts 9 weeks I am so nearly finished I would be very annoyed if a cold set me back. I may well fast tomorrow as well, we have one of our grandsons birthday parties on Wed my usual day two. Hope you all have a successful day :like: :clover:
I'm back in properly too today. I've had two weeks of not 5:2ing properly. My mother-in-law died suddenly and we've been too sad to 5:2. I've also had a stiff neck and shoulder for the last 3 weeks and have done hardly any running.

So, today I saw the sunshine and went for an hour-long run. I feel better than I have in many days and a bit happier too.

Nothing to eat so far, but several buckets of herbal tea. Will have a coffee at 4pm and then a vegetable fritata for supper.
Oh god, I'm fasting today, just went for a massage on an empty stomach and fainted! Don't do it kids.

Having my usual fasting lunch but may break my fast entirely if it doesn't make me feel better. What do you think?
Glenda? Have you been drinking plenty of water? Poor you, that sounds awful. Hope you're feeling better now.

I'm so looking forward to my Paella tonight with chicken, king prawns, arborio rice and chorizo (mm actually I've not had chorizo before so not sure what that'll taste like!). Anyway, I can safely say that I can't WAIT to eat again.
Yes, I had three pints of water, a coffee and a herbal tea this morning! I felt most peculiar. The masseuse reckoned it was toxins being released onto an empty stomach.
Rather late posting but here I am fasting too!
Feel in the mood for sabotage but if I can hold out until 4pm I know I wait for a light dinner later!
Just taking a break from painting the shed - it's sunny but sooooo chilly here in Yorkshire so making the most of it before it rains for the rest of the week!!
I'm hoping I can stick to a fast today. The day started fine but I've done my exercise and this afternoon I feel like a little indulgence. If I can hold off for another 2 hours then thats half the battle. Some weeks I find fasting a breeze and some weeks I really struggle. If I cant hold off til 5.00pm I'll turn it into a 16:8 (or thereabouts). I've already eaten 2 satsumas that were deliciously sweet. Will keep drinking water and see how it goes. Good luck today's fasters.
After a week of gluttony I am ready for a fast. Last week was my first week with only 1 fast since I started this WOL (August, 19). I managed to reduce my eating window for 3 days and I think that helped because I didn't gain any weight and even lost a couple of cm here and there. I am really impressed! :)
Hello lovelies... I'm in for today! Already long in the fasted state as I had an early dinner and turned in early to read. Woke up not hungry and hoping for an easy fast today! Well it's not even noon here yet, so still a ways to go.
Wow! Reading the posts on this thread makes me feel hungry! All the talk of Belgian waffles and other tasty treats is testing my resolve.
I do like the sound of jelly that MrsGToBE speaks of, I'll certainly add that to my shopping list.
Rather chilly here in Surrey this afternoon, not ideal fasting weather, but at least it's sunny I suppose.
Keep up the good work fellow fasters!
I'm in too. I hope everyone has a great day.
Hi, I'm in today, just finishing work now; started today by having a protein shake for a change (80 cals), have just stuck to coffee and skimmed milk, with some soup lined up at home, possibly with some raw veg.

Had to go out and collect some things around lunchtime, what a nice clear sunny day!

Good luck to everyone.
