I'm in. Hope we all have a good one!
Haven't skipped my coffee so feel quite human already, but give it time :P
lunch - slimasoup , a banana and apple
dinner - salmon fillet and salad and one of those Hartleys 10cal jelly pots (actually only 9cals and they're lovely - the cranverry & raspberry one is super yummy!)

Hope to feel well enough for a work out - I miss them on fast days but the headaches make it pretty much impossible.

Sorry guys, no one told me there were problems and I've been laid on the sofa most of the weekend feeling under the weather (nephew brought me a lovely cold/flu bug when visiting from Germany!). I know there was a problem the other day with the database and our host had to restart the server, it's possible there have been a few blips since then as this morning I notice one of the database tables was all locked up. I've repaired it now so fingers crossed all is well but do let me know if any further problems.

Myself, well I should be fasting today but I'm playing it by ear due to this bug. I may allow myself some hot lemon & honey drinks throughout the day and have a smaller dinner. Or I may just end up eating if my body keeps asking for fruit and protein as it has been.
yes, I couldn't get in for quite some time on Saturday, and again this morning.

The fast went out the window......after I had a soft boiled egg for lunch, then it was a disaster.

Not going to try tomorrow as its the Melbourne Cup, and we are going to a bbq so hope to do it again Wednesday or Thursday.

cheers Maggie.
Ooh, woke up to a beautiful frosty morning, the first of the winter. Love days like this so in a good mind set for a fast. Need one after eating far too much pasta and chocolate cake yesterday. Going to the gym for a hour at 11, followed by an hour's aqua class so that will keep me away from food at lunchtime!
I am in.i have a sore throat and eyes so I guess it is a Lemsip day for me!
I'm fasting today too! Went for a day trip to Brussels yesterday, meet our best friend, had fun and ate a lot. Who could resist a nice warm Belgian waffle on a cold rainy afternoon? :D So a repair day is in order!

Going to cook a nice tomato soup with meatballs for dinner.. perfect for this rainy day.
I'm fasting today too, it'll be a 36hr liquid only fast. I've joined the thread for others doing the same... but they seem to have dwindled off a bit, so I've come here for some company!! Good luck everyone :clover:
Sorry if there was a problem over the weekend folks, I know the database bugged out on Friday/Saturday and I had to get our host to restart the server. Since then it looks like there was one particular data table which was locked up, I've repaired it this morning and all should be well now.

As for today, I'm fasting in theory, though I've picked up a cold/flu bug (worst I've had since starting 5:2! - I blame the foreign germs brought in by my family who visited from Germany!) so will listen to my body. May have to allow myself some lemon & honey drinks today at least.
Good Morning, count me today.
Ooops, a pound back on after the weekend.
Well, I was a bit 'gung ho', thinking I was under target. Today, I'm at target!
It'd be the slippery slope to ruin if I don't take action today!
We are off to Belgium next week on a 'mini cruise' from Hull. A Belgian waffle sounds like a perfect thing to eat, whilst there

Problems with posting on the forum today. Day nearly done. Wonderful garden salad of peas, broad beans, snow peas, asparagus and mint. Went we'll with the porterhouse. It was good having a list and I actually did most of it. And yes, Wineoclock and Otter, of course! Gremolata!

And gotta have one (small... or big? :D) piece of the Belgian chocolates, Penny... they are divine!
:0)
I'm in today. I'd planned to fast today anyway but I'm feeling rotten so I've called in sick and I'm bundled up on the sofa feeling sorry for myself. Plenty of coffee and water for now and I have some pumpkin, Stilton and sage soup for later.
I'm in :) Just spent the weekend with my boyfriend as he had leave from his army training. The next time I see him will be in 7 weeks for his passing out parade and I want to look good! Sooo I'm feeling motivated today :victory:
