You made me laugh wineoclock which I needed. I thought that was funny how you were being called that. I have 1 boy but waiting for youngest to arrive at evacuation Centre On Bus which will happen soon maybe. Yes St columbas - they had a fire in there extra grass carpal but all are safe. Xxx thanks everyone.
I'm in today :). Glad all you NSWers are safe xx
Julianna that's good news. You'll be glad to have everyone home. I hate waiting for them to get in. Daughter is at a dinner in Surry hills tonight so will be on a late train home I really hate her doing that esp tonight as the trains are terminating at Penrith due to track work.
Julianna, how scary! And all of you out there in NSW. Pictures on the news were terrible. It seems like all of Sydney is surrounded by fires!

Meanwhile, hail and it feels like snow in Tasmania. My fast went well. Busy at work. Came home and braved the freezing wind to pick Tuscan Kale and snow peas. We had lamb's fry with a red wine vinegar sauce and steamed veg for dinner and it was very satisfying. I'm going to make it. Now I'll watch that food show about Japan on SBS and dream of food.
I'm back to fasting today, so pleased to be joining you all.
Oh yeah and hating every moment of it since I (for once) woke up hungry and have stayed that way so far. Looking forward to woked chicken with vegs for dinner and maybe the smallest amount of rice...
Tomorrow is another day :shutmouth: :clock:
We are fasting today as well.

I am not hungry at present but feeling very cold. Have my heater on today. Work is busy but so far no grumpy people today which is a relieve. Yesterday was cat and if today was going to be same I don't think I could have coped without a cuppa and and and.

So all's well so far :clover:

Good luck to everyone
The royal we?

I am fasting today. Looking forward to my lunch!
Just waking up into a fast day. Not hungry yet ;)
Hi everyone

This is my first week , and I am on my 2nd fast day today.
I am fasting on Mondays and Thursdays as this fits in with my family life style.

Having previously lost 7 stone by dieting and maintained that weight loss for over a year, I just wanted to do this diet to stop the pounds creeping on and maybe lose 7 lb in total.

I know how important it is to have a great support network around you when dieting as it is very hard. So that's why I wanted to join a forum so I can chat to others who are going through the same experience.

Today is a lot easier than my first fast day, and I have noticed on normal days I am eating a lot more sensible and not eating lots of junk which was creeping back into my diet.
I can't wait to see how things go after the first week xxxx
Welcome to the forum Maxiboymum! Well done with your previous loss and maintaining it! :)
It is now nearly 4pm in France and I am very hungry. Feeling shaky too. OH keeps eating in front of me too. Just having another black coffee as too cold for more water. Think it will need to be an early dinner tonight. Was going to do some baking but best not!
Found the solution.......have changed into my size 10 jeans.....they are tight and banish all thoughts of breaking my fast!
Hi all, me too I'm hopefully nearly on a full fast, only coffee as touched my lip with 120ml of skimmed milk, and it's now nearly tea time, just 6hrs till bed time, and I'm not even hungry, which is a good thing, just hope when I have to cook tea for other I don't get the munches.
Good luck everyone, we can do it . (hopefully) and then tomo it will be
Well it was going well until Min came in from school and was soooo excited because they got given the new school dinner menu! She then read every entry of the 3 week rolling menu, I glazed over at about the sticky BBQ rib phase and nearly passed out at the chocolate brickwall bit, oh my I could chew the hind leg off my stinky border collie!

Roll on dinner!
