Hi I'm new to the fast diet,i started last Monday with a fast day and Thursday was fast 2,today is fast 3 and going well.Feel encouraged by the posts on here and i'm not finding it too difficult up to now.I will be getting weighed on Friday so fingers crossed... :D
third fast for me - still not brave enough to forgo lunch but i only had a cup a soup and im not sure it was really of any benefit! Ive lost 2lb according to the scales - had two roast chicken dinners, two bottles of wine and a small chinese takeaway so cant be bad.
1St fast of week two, managed not to eat until 13.30pm, i have made some low calorie soup to last me until this evening, 200 cals before my tea tonight. all going well, feel less hungry today, think in future i will hold off eating until late as possible, as it has made me hungry and I wasn't before !!!

painting nails and watching a film this evening, less time to think about food (my normal nightly routine, I am trying to change this).

I had a mug of coffee for breakfast (s/s milk and sugar!), lunch was a big bowl of salad leaves, some cucumber and 5 fish sticks with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and a small squeeze (less than a desert spoon of it!!!)of hellmans mayo lite and tonight I am having a 100 gram fat trimmed off, steak (probably horse!!) grilled with green beans, leeks and broccoli and watch HIM have a baked potato then a Hartley's 10 calorie jelly. To be honest I am finding the fasting days easy on Monday as weekends are always over-indulgent !!..Weigh day tomorrow and have lost my tape measure.. Not shrinking but people say I look good and I feel great!!
Week 2 fast 3,lost 2lb last week.Sticking to same regime each fast day
serving of homemade Green Soup with 15mls Udos oil plus 1 hard boiled egg.
Dinner Green Soup again and 4oz grilled Pangasius
Hitting the Red Bush tea often and when in dire need, a slice of pickled beetroot
Perhaps I shouldn't speak too soon- but I am delighted I have decided on one meal(rather than my usual lunch and dinner) for today's fast. I was worried I would be slumped on my desk by now but I have plenty of energy and will be even happier come this evening when I can eat a substantial meal! Glad I listened to the suggestions on this forum.

Hi everyone, second fast for me today, I've had yoghurt for breakfast, tea, coffee x4, and a low calorie hot meal tonight, followed by highlights hot choc for my sanity!!!!

I'm fasting today and finding it a bit tougher than I have other recent fast days. Feeling really cold today. I've had a salad for lunch and just had a warming option hot chocolate. Soup for tea I think.
Hello all , 3rd fast for me today , nothing all day but an apple , homemade veg soup at 6 . Might try snorveys idea of a couple of weetabix and milk before bed and see if I can sleep better . :)
It's my first fasting day today and I've survived so far! Porridge for brunch with skimmed milk and water, followed by a strong black coffee and a couple of herb teas. I will enjoy my mushroom omelette and salad later for sure :) Hubby is fasting too, he wants a chicken breast with veg. Any fat free ideas on how to prepare said chicken? Suggestions most gratefully received. Good luck all :)
I'm fasting today too, managed 3 fasts last week and lost 2lbs so very happy. So fast day 4 for me and first one at work but there was so much to do that's its helped distract me. I save all my cals for my dinner but try to drink lots and lots. So far so good; we can do this! :D
Fasting today and Husband bought pack of hot cross buns for daughter's after school snack i.e. for himself as well. Had to leave the room whilst they ate. Was a bit cross TBH!
On week 3 so seventh fast day, not really losing much weight but have been over compensating on non-fast days and lots of wine at weekends - gonna start counting calories for 'feast' days next! Finding it cold and hard today!!
Satsuma and apple for lunch and am starving - looking forward to a pile of roasted veg with crushed chillies tonight !
No breakfast.

Small slice of homemade frittata with salad and cup a soup for lunch. 216 calories total. Cup a soup not really worth the 60 calories!!

Am very hungry now..........dinner will be a Heston burger for waitrose (244 cals) plus as much salad as I can muster for the remaining calories. Might make some sauteed mushrooms to top the burger with. No roll and no chips!!
