Fasting Today Monday 25th Feb

Manic time last week so no fast. Back to routine today, sort of looking forward to it, but bad nights sleep and v. busy day, so hopefully it goes OK.

Week 2, fast 3 today. Looking forward to getting in the swing of this today as I have a stupidly busy day.

Good morning Monday fasters. This is week 4 for me - no weight loss last week which I was expecting.

Today I am going to try postponing breakfast as long as possible and having two meals instead of three.

I find it better with two meals as well. It does help to keep busy and away from food in these early days. I know this is for me but I have decades of weight watchers to get out of my head. I would like to weigh once a month to take the focus of weight loss. I am part of a challenge on WW so want to see that through. My subscription expires on 3rd March and once my stash of WW food is gone I hope to be free of it.

I put on 1lb last week, despite 2 days fasting, but I blame the large amounts of bread I had on my non-fast days lol. I did lose a bit on my waist though, so not all bad.

Onwards and downwards :D

Morning fellow fasters! 1st fast day of the week for me (usually do Monday & Weds) - good week last week - lost another 2lb :) Hope I can do the same again this week as I've still got 2.5 st to go (having lost 3st overall so far). Small bowl of usual porridge this morning - nothing else (apart from black tea/water) until LARGE bowl of homemade butternut squash soup which is waiting for me at home tonight - and maybe a few cream crackers if I feel the need for some carbs. Another Monday means another fast day which means another lunchtime visit to Asda to hunt for reduced priced vegetables to have with my low fat cottage pie tonight..

I'm fasting today too - it's my third week, but only 4th fast as I started half-way through a week. I've just weighed myself and have lost over two pound so far.
Porridge for breakfast when I get hungry and then hoping just a low-cal cup of soup at lunchtime will keep me going until this evening.
I'll be making a bowl of Hartley's Sugar-free jelly to satisfy the sweet cravings after my salad!

Fast 9 week 5 for me, lost 3kgs now and having had a stagnant 2 weeks in terms of weight loss am now more motivated after losing over 1kg last week:)
It's cold, I'm not eating until this evening but it is worth it. Good luck to all you Monday fasters!
This is my first time posting in the support forum as I've started the 5:2 only a week ago. So, this is it, week 2, fast 3. I lost a kilo already (!) and I am super happy :D I've got a fairly busy day and I'm kind of looking forward to not having lunch... is it weird?? Being Italian I absolutely looove my food so this is very odd for me :shock:

Morning all! Starting with Liptons Morroccan tea today for a change and NO BLACK COFFEE! Trying to be a Happy Faster and will also be heading to Asda's veg/fruit chuck out shelf for pineapple etc, thought I might have a stir fry tonight as been on the steamed haddock and green veg for the last 3 fasts and a change is due. Here's to losing a goodly amount weight wise today everyone. Pip pip.

We over indulged this weekend so feeling a bit hungrier than usual as I start my first fast day of the week but my 11th over 5 weeks. I've lost 5.2 Kgs so very happy with my progress.

Food Diary: I've had two dark rye Ryvita and a scrape of light Philly on each for breakfast. I'll have some prawns & salad for lunch and husband and I will be sharing an M&S Count on You cod dish with Savoy cabbage this evening. I'll add two mugs of tea with skimmed milk and some cups of fruit teas and glasses of water through the day. It's working for me.

Fasting today too, 4th fast, I did 3 last week (mon,wed & sat), only did Saturday due to having a big feast planned for Sunday. I do feel like I probably overdid it yesterday (that is what the scales say anyway). I think I need to try and stick to my 1600 cals on feast days as much as possible. Have a good day everyone.
