Hi Marie , I stalled last week, and felt very demoralised till someone pointed out my overall loss since I started. I weighed on Saturday for the big Group Weigh in and was delighted to find I had started losing again.
Several people have suggested, that eating more on Feast days can help even if it seems counter intuitive.

Stick with it and see how it goes for you
MarieNC wrote: I just started this week so today is my second fast day. Tuesday was much easier. Today I have very little energy and find I am more hungry than Tuesday. I've been staying hydrated, though. I've been looking through a lot of posts and have noticed a lot of posts where people complain that nothing is happening or they have stalled or they lost weight and regained it. Anybody have any sustained weight loss going on?

Yep, use the tracker and look at progress over a month rather than a week. Average loss over the group is a pound a week and that is too small to see on a weekly basis as you can pee that amount...
Yes, indeed, plenty or most even are losing weight steadily...have a look at the inspirational stories thread! Also the progress tracker and some members (like myself) have their progress tracker data available to view (see the panel under my avatar where it says progress charts: view).

Naturally there are more posts from people who are concerned about the speed of weight loss, either because it is slower or more variable than expected or because they are unfortunate enough to be in the small group of people who don't respond so well.

The data from last month's weigh in showed that the average loss over the month was 2.4 kg (over 5 lb) and half of the participants in the weigh in lost more than 2.7 kg.

I have lost around 15kg in 4 months!
Heading to bed after another successful fast, wanted to say a quick thank you to those who mentioned having an options hot choc before bed, bought some today, indulged this evening and going to bed feeling all satisfied and warm! Just what was missing from my fast days
Just come home from a night out (went to the ballet, darlings). First stop wetherspoons (eek) oh ah it's ok they had a curry for under 300 cals (without rice, only had a bit of rice).
Then when at the theatre, very tempted to have ice cream (especially cos they had ginger) but I was still good. Didn't even have a lick! I suppose I could've moved fast day but I think keeping to routine is important for now or I'm sure I could easily slip off.
Ready for bed now and not particularly hungry! Night everyone. Well done keep it up.
A bit of a late post, but today was my 2nd fast day of the week, (4th fast in total). As I was starting a new job today, I decided it might be sensible to have breakfast this morning rather than saving all my cals for the evening. I coped really well but by 5 pm I felt desperately hungry.

I managed to last out until 6.30 pm, had my main meal but now I'm absolutely ravenous again. I'm hoping an early night will get me through. I'm just guzzling water to hopefully get rid of the hunger pangs. This is the first fast where I've actually felt really desperate to eat - lol! I did eat more than normal on Tuesday and for that reason I just have a feeling that I won't have lost anything this week. It's weighing day tomorrow - gulp :-/ Well done everyone and wish me luck!

Annie x
Well done everyone! I have also added an options drink in the evening and it makes a difference. I do get hungry on fat days but work through it. I find a black coffee helps a lot. Knowing I can eat fully today helps me fast. I am now enjoying my full breakfast and tonight am going out for a curry. I just love this way of eating. Oh and this morning I have lost 1lb so off to change my tracker!
