Very hungry (2 small plums so far) and I absolutely agree (now) with the advice to plan fast day food. I did last Thursday and was so straightforward. Today I haven't a clue and worry about getting it wrong later. It'll be the rummaging in the fridge syndrome which is a bad idea. However, this is my 7th fast and it's definitely working so I'll be ok. Had a rather 'fizzy' Mother's Day with a couple of friends so drying out is also a good thing
Nearly home time from work here in Ireland and all going well. Is anyone else out there doing a total fast? I guess I get around 100 cals from milk in roughly 4 cups of tea/coffee during the day but otherwise i don't eat. Find it really easy and saves me having to plan food for fast days.I don;t have the book and did not see the Horizon program so does anyone know if this is ok?
 I am also fasting today, only did 1 day last week due to being away am finding it hard, just having mid afternoon Earl Grey to keep me going till the prawns and salad and sugar-free jelly later!http://www.52fastdiet.co.uk/posting.php?mode=reply&f=8&t=2005#

So long as you're happy, you're fine. Have a look for the programme (links in FAQs) as it is a good watch, regardless of following the diet. :like:

Stick with it - the Progress Tracker is low on data for the tenth week - perhaps it's the hardest of them all? Let us know how you get on :like:
Red01...I'm doing a total fast too. Well, this is only my 2nd week. I got thru 2 total fasts last week. Today is my 3rd, and I'm hungry! Trying to fill up on water, but I want some food! Not sure I'm gonna make it today.
Its my first ever fasting day today... Struggling a little, got the rumbly tum and can't stop thinking about food!! I'm sure it will get easier... Please tell me it does!!

I'm actually loving the black coffee, never thought I would :-)
2 fish cakes.
Roast mushrooms, carrot, and courgette with a tablespoon of baked beans. YUMMY!
Still enough of my 400 calorie allowance to have a little something later if needs be.
Enjoy your dinner folks.
Fasting today too! 3rd fast and no headache this time so very happy! :-)

I'm liking the black coffee too, much to my surprise!
Just had my homemade French onion soup with a little grated Emmental and am full. An orange for dessert and a little chocolate with a cup of tea later and that's another fast day finished, easy!

Have to admit...the French do everything with elan--even fasting! :like:
(now if only I had a good recipe for onion soup)
Feeling a little relieved at this stage-very nearly at the end of another fast day :victory: . Was a little worried after only one fast last week that I would be tempted out of my previous good habits but seem to be ok so far. Saved all cals for my evening meal of chickpea and veg soup with some quorn sausages. Very satisfying and now only a few hours til bedtime (not to be wishing away my life!) so hopefully I can fast on Weds or Thurs with ease and be back to 5:2 properly. Good luck with the rest of the day all
Yog for breakfast, skinny tomato & balsamic vinegar soup for lunch (was delish) and prawn cocktail for tea! no problemo!
4 peppermint teas, 2 oxo's, 2 pepsi-max . Don't feel hungry, think it must be the hot drinks!
