Had lunch of french onion soup and just now finished my evening meal- quorn cocktail sausages (yummy) and salad with green leaves and shaved carrot.
Hope everyone is hanging in there
Feel fine now - its not been a particularly easy one today - not sure why, especially after Monday being so easy - maybe because I've been eating fairly lite for the interim days since. Looking forward to blow-out tomoz, and some lovely meals this weekend
But gym first thing tomorrow before breakfast, then the weekend starts !
Made the kids toast for supper, nearly killed me BUT if I choose, I can have toast for breakfast
Well done guys. X
So... a Thursday fast which I was a little wary of since I usually do a hard workout at the gym on a Thursday and then cycle home. And as a one-meal-a-day type, I was nervous of potentially hitting the wall halfway home (figuratively not literally!)... but am pleased to report that I made it safely through the day, enjoyed my usual class, the cycle home was tough but safely home and fed. Phew! I might switch to a Thursday more often!

Looking forward to hosting dinner for friends on Friday night without having to worry about calories etc (although will mean trying on that bridesmaid dress which have put off for a while now).
Except in the last halt hour (i.e. between 9.30 & 10 pm) two of the 5 people have cancelled on me. Bit peeved off as had bought food I would need plus a bit extra, so spent quite a bit on fish, salad, starters, dessert etc. Probably being silly. No big deal really I suppose.
You don't have any other pals you could ask around on Saturday perhaps to help chow down with you?
I keep swinging between feeling a bit let down and peed off, and then slightly amused that I'm letting it bother me. Looking on the bright side, what diff does it make it that food gets eaten by them or put in the bin??(wasteful, but none really - just less washing up do do in the morning, eh! Plus I finally have some matching plates (22 years after leaving home - haha). (But still 'grrrr' as well).
