This is my gazillionth week! Am really hungry now an have been cold all day. Just having a Bovril and looking forward to 0 noodle veg/chicken stir-fry!!
Just had my one meal, really enjoyed it and very full. Ate nothing for 24 hrs and found it easy! Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow!
Phew! Even as it gets easier, I don't trust myself not to suddenly go mad and eat all around me so I'm delighted it's near the end of the day and I can relax!
Had lunch of french onion soup and just now finished my evening meal- quorn cocktail sausages (yummy) and salad with green leaves and shaved carrot.
Hope everyone is hanging in there
2nd fast of the week after a fall off the wagon last week. Only started on 1st March, feel bad for being crap at it so early on....! Had a cuppa soup and apple for lunch, then a small portion of pesto pasta for dinner. nursing a diet coke til bedtime :)
Really enjoyed my liver and bacon, followed a big treat of a handful of all bran

Feel fine now - its not been a particularly easy one today - not sure why, especially after Monday being so easy - maybe because I've been eating fairly lite for the interim days since. Looking forward to blow-out tomoz, and some lovely meals this weekend

But gym first thing tomorrow before breakfast, then the weekend starts !
I'm fasting today too. It's amazing on many times you can exceed your points on WW but never exceed 500cals on this. Just goes to show you can stick to it long term.
Made the kids toast for supper, nearly killed me BUT if I choose, I can have toast for breakfast :)

Well done guys. X
Risotto eaten....just relaxing with my slanket over me to keep warm and enjoying a peach fizzy drink from aldi  oh whilst watching master chef :geek:
Hello Thursday fasters. I'm usually a Wednesday faster but had an out-of-office meeting yesterday where there was hope of decent grub. In actual fact, the food was just OK and served buffet style so it would have been easy to ignore. But, I did end up with a couple of little pastries, a large cookie and various fizzy 'zero' drinks during the day; really didn't feel that great last night!

So... a Thursday fast which I was a little wary of since I usually do a hard workout at the gym on a Thursday and then cycle home. And as a one-meal-a-day type, I was nervous of potentially hitting the wall halfway home (figuratively not literally!)... but am pleased to report that I made it safely through the day, enjoyed my usual class, the cycle home was tough but safely home and fed. Phew! I might switch to a Thursday more often!

Looking forward to hosting dinner for friends on Friday night without having to worry about calories etc (although will mean trying on that bridesmaid dress which have put off for a while now).

Except in the last halt hour (i.e. between 9.30 & 10 pm) two of the 5 people have cancelled on me. :( Bit peeved off as had bought food I would need plus a bit extra, so spent quite a bit on fish, salad, starters, dessert etc. Probably being silly. No big deal really I suppose.
That's really annoying since by the night before, it's always likely that people will have gone to some effort in shopping/cooking etc. Cancelling three days out is one thing but the night before is a bit off and I'd be peeved too.

You don't have any other pals you could ask around on Saturday perhaps to help chow down with you?
I thought about that, but the idea was that we were getting together to discuss the hen weekend to Berlin we're going on in a couple of weeks. If other people come they'll be bored rigid by all that hen and bridesmaid talk. I'd even bought a new set of plates and some wine glasses as only had enough for 3 people (I don't usually entertain! lol). Flippin' annoyed (esp when they say, shall we get together next Friday instead. Duhhhh - no!!

I keep swinging between feeling a bit let down and peed off, and then slightly amused that I'm letting it bother me. Looking on the bright side, what diff does it make it that food gets eaten by them or put in the bin??(wasteful, but none really - just less washing up do do in the morning, eh! Plus I finally have some matching plates (22 years after leaving home - haha). (But still 'grrrr' as well).
