Second fast of the week, and today I am hungry :dazed:
I'm drinking loads of green tea and water and ignoring my stomach. Fasts had been getting easier and easier, with less hunger, and I was thinking that today I was going to try and not eat at all. I've been only having a small evening meal on fast days (probably 150-200 calories) and nothing else. Bwahaha, my brain obviously trying to sabotage that idea!
Today is my 2nd fast day of the week - and 2nd fast day ever.

Saving most of my calories for dinner, as even is when my resolve is usually at its lowest.
My second fast for the week too (and fourth since I started on 5:2) and going well. As usual, I'm saving all my calories for dinner and am mainly just drinking water. I have been amazed by how well I feel on fast days and how 'user friendly' this way of eating is.

Went out earlier and bought scales (which we didn't have) so I can now track my progress in kilograms lost as well!

As I mentioned above, this is only my 2nd fast day... however, am I being too complacent if I say I have found it 'no big deal'? Don't want to jinx myself but I woke up this morning thinking "fast day today, it's great I can eat tomorrow". I feel I'm missing something! :confused:

Doing my 5th fast today, and I too seem hungrier today.
Swam my laps this morning then had my usual 2 rice thins and strawberries around 12md. I needed a small apple a while ago to get me through- the celery just didn't cut it today!
I'm drinking lots of chai tea(no milk) and ginger and lemon tea.
Only 3 hours till dinner of veges, fruit and soy yoghurt which I'm still enjoying.I find it a bit hard for the couple of hours before i eat dinner but then I'm fine.

Fasting today too. 2nd for the week and this is week 7. Also been cooking all day, thought that would be bad but I'm hardly hungry at all. Very strange as I would usually be ready to gnaw my own arm off by now.
Have cooked Pinto Bean Chili from the River Cottage Veg book for dinner, it's about 300 cals per serve and very yummy.

Fasted Tuesday when I was off work - that was tougher than usual. But today will be busy busy busy so much easier. Body Combat after work, then a nice chicken salad.

Looking forward to hosting dinner for friends on Friday night without having to worry about calories etc (although will mean trying on that bridesmaid dress which have put off for a while now).
Well my day is starting in France. My second fast day of the week too and for the second time I am saving my calories for evening meal. Tonight I am having sea bass with a caper sauce and veg. Sugar free jelly for pud! Need to get some fat free Greek yogurt for the caper sauce but have a couple of errands to run so will get it then. Just enjoying my black coffee breakfast!
Well done all at the other side of the world and hope your fast days have been okay. Eyes down for all this side who are just beginning! We can do this and it is beneficial.
My 13th fast today - hopefully not unlucky :bugeyes:

After this week routine goes out of the window for the Easter hols- I like the simple routine of Mondays and Thursdays - flexibility is useful, but routine is very comforting.

I've got liver casserole for tea tonight, and a busy day with lots of tea and water for the next 12 hours. Good luck everyone today :grin:
Hello Thursday fasters! I'm fasting today too, and while it's only 9 am, I've been awake for 4 hours already... going to be a long one.

Earlier this morning I thought, how am I going to do this? I've got a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old at home with me today, both ill and so so demanding... I've not had enough sleep, and there's work I should be doing. How can I fast on a day like this? But then I realised that there'll always be something. Last week it was my dentists' appointment. How can I fast on a day with a dentists' appointment? The week before that, a business trip. I managed, and I'll manage now :smile:
It's my 2nd fast day of the wk,and its only just began!!! Hope thoses fasting today have a good day.
Fasting today, my 11th one and not really feeling in the mood. Have planned an extraordinarily busy day to help the hours pass until dinner. Good luck fellow fasters!

I am on it today, doing ADF pretty much last couple of weeks, it makes the graph on MFP look really cool!!!

I am going for a swim later, I tried the Gym yesterday, and decided I now need to give up smoking! Well I was going to anyway, but I wanted to loose weight first, it now seems it will stop me exercising efficiently, and it's killing me, so I better stop, Monday I will start stopping with a plan to stop completely on 2nd April!
5th fast today. I'm still in bed just getting my head together for the day. If I plan it I find it easier. So, lots of balck coffee for breakfast, apple for lunch, orange mid-afternoon and a big bowl of broccoli soup tonight with a ting bit of roquefort in it. Lots of black coffee, herbal tea dn water throughout the day. That should do it. I might trying doiong 3 fasts next week in preparation for the Easter weekend.
I am also fasting today this is m 5th time from starting, the problem I have is I can lose 2 pounds on a fast day, but normal eating day it goes back on help please.
