lol

I don't know about you, but getting drunk makes me uber hungry. I wouldn't do it. Have the wine tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will be calm and not need it!
I'm on my 6th fast today, too  . It is great to be able to be flexible & pick which 2 days to fast - last week I had to go out on Thurs so fasted Monday and Friday; this week it has been Mon & Thurs, which is my preferred pattern. And have lost 5lb so far, though I expect I'll plateau soon!

After the first week, when I had breakfast - 120 cal porridge - I've been quite happy not having anything but black coffee [which is how I like it anyway] and a veg. oxo cube drink, until a light meal at 6-ish in the evening.

Nice to have some support when we're 'all in it together'!

It's my 2nd fast too. Monday I was at home and found it easier than today at work. I think it's because a work day is much longer and I'm used to munching all day at work.

When fasting super hydrated or also when dehydrated your tonsils can start to expel foul-smelling gunk collected in the crypts - I don't know why. If you look at your tonsils and see white spots - gargle with a little hydrogen peroxide to loosen them and make sure you are drinking plenty.
I used to gargle with hydrogen peroxide then the chemist stopped selling it.
Hi all, I typed a post earlier but don't know where it went!

A good fast day - spent the morning in a factory producing garlic bread and muffins (I sell packaging to the food industry!) but wasn't too hard, survived the day on water, black coffee and fruit tea.

It was just me for dinner today so I went for a ready meal option (something I never normally do) had a M+S feel fuller chicken, butternut squash and stilton bake and did some aspargus with it - it was yummy and the bake was only 345 calories!

I have just had a game of badminton for the first time in weeks and really enjoyed it and have now given in to a very small portion of pistachio nuts :curse: ! Not ideal but I feel I needed a little something!

Hope everyone has had a good day, have a good Easter and enjoy the eggs! x
Busy day for me so I didn't get to post (or read) about fasting today. I try to drink tea, coffee and kombucha during the day. Swim and workout and finish up with a soup. It feels like my body has completely adjusted to the rhythm of 5:2 and that I don't need to keep repeating mantras "it's only 1 day." I want to make sure that tomorrow I just eat regularly as I've been reading another thread that points out it is easy for people to overdo next days (unconsciously).
I had a really good fast day yesterday - skipped breakfast and felt fine all morning. Had miso soup with celery sticks at lunchtime, bit tummy rumbly but nothing I couldn't handle. A satsuma mid afternoon. Half my "Eats shoots and crab" salad when I got home, then went to the gym and ran for 30 mins on the treadmill, and enjoyed an Alpen bar afterwards. Came home to the rest of my salad and a glass of soda water with lemon in a wine glass. Felt really cheery and upbeat.
