Well, here I am on my sixth fast in fifteen days and although that sounds a lot it is really only two fasts per week. It is just that I have finally settled in to a Mon/Thu regime.

To call it a 'regime', however, is unfair. It is getting easier by the week and am very happy with the start of this lifestyle so far.

On a lazy fast day, I make it a Campbell's Day. I love Pea and Ham soup so a can in the morning and can at night makes for (too much salt but) an easy day with 7 serves of vegetables and some protein and some fibre and no "stoppages" the next day!! and only 600 calories!

Anyway...Good luck everyone today, especially those working up to their sixth fast.
Hi,
Im also fasting today (also my 6th) and finding it pretty easy so far (I really struggled last Thursday).
I eat nothing until dinner, because I find it easier.
Tonight I am having one of the frozen diet meals from Aldi (Beef in red wine sauce with mash: 244 calories) and some berries and yoghurt for dessert :)
Looks like we're in sync - I'm also doing my 6th fast today! I too like leaving all my calories for dinner, that way I can usually have whatever the rest of the family is eating. Tonight it's chicken and vegetables. I'm loving this WOE, another 1.1 kg gone this week and I haven't felt at all restricted, even enjoyed some delicious Lindt chocolate and my favourite wine on the weekend!
I'm fasting today too, and finding it my easiest Thursday fast so far. I do Mon/Thurs, and before this week had found Mondays easy, but Thursdays a struggle. This week I found Monday so tough, and I wasn't looking forward to today at all. Instead, it's nearly 2pm and I've hardly noticed I'm fasting.

I do find that I chew gum pretty much all day on fast days, because my breath is pretty pongy. Ketosis :)
On my 7th fast today, and it's been an easy one for me too.
I haven't lost any weight this week but have attended a Ball, a Wedding and the Easter Show so no guesses as to why.
I like the feeling that I'm in control with this WOE and moved my Monday fast to Sunday, and also trying not to focus too much on the scales!
Has some strawberries at 2pm and will have veges, fruit and yoghurt for dinner- a nice healthy dinner before the Easter w/e!
All the best to all the Thursday Fasters!
Fasting today and have found it a bit of a struggle. I have had an emergency handful of nots however and the fat seems to have done the trick in stopping me feeling sivk. Hopefully now I should go until dinner and will cut my intake tonight.
Morning fellow fasters! I'm making a bamboo shoot and crab salad to have for dinner, and currently debating whether to try going without breakfast. This would be a total shock to my system as I NEVER skip breakfast, but it seems to work for many on here.
Hi Melanie I found skipping breakfast very easy and have done so the last 2 weeks of fasting ,like you I have never gone without breakfast, goodness me its unthinkable haha ,but I don't feel hungry at all until lunch time. ,it gives you extra calories for your evening meal
Fasting today too!

I think this is the 22nd Fast!

Not sure what the day will bring to be honest, got to go shopping, swimming and get some coal!

Es??? Where's you too my dear?
Morning Thursday Fasters. I'm in this club too. It's only my second fast though.
Currently lying in bed having a cup of tea which my dear OH brought. I too am thinking about missing breakfast for once; like the idea of a bigger meal later. Might make lunchtime too hard though. Hmm, not sure... :?:
Morning All,
I am fasting today too. My 10th fast and first time participating in the forum.
Just having coffee before I take the dogs out, then have some work to finish off before using my fast energy to blitz the house. It is in a bit of a state because now I think oh I'll wait until fast day to do this job or that job, I was out all day my previous fast so...
Morning all! Last chance to fast before the Easter holidays!
Staying in bed for a bit to keep warm! Dinner will be baked salmon with roasted veg. Just hot drinks until then.

Hi boboff *waves*. I actually slept well last night so I'm late checking in today. Really looking forward to fasting today, although I'm really hungry already (yikes!) That's because I overdid it yesterday I think. Had my easter egg early as I'll be fasting on Sunday. Have a happy and healthy fast day everyone!
Mr fourth fast today and gonna be super busy at work so wont have time to feel hungry! Gonna go easy on the wheat tomorrow to see if that helps my IBS.

Have a good day everyone
Morning all, fasting today...

My plan is to drink water and herbal tea all day, skip breakfast, miso soup for lunch and save the calories for a big salad tonight with my fav homebaked ham.

Looking forward to spending easter with the family with added energy for country walks, egg hunts, lambing season, zoo visit all topped off with a lovely roast dinner. Am expecting no weight loss next week but we shall see.

Have great days!
