Stomar, that's all I lost last week. Hang in there, faster weightloss feels good in the head but slower weightloss is longer lasting and better for the body!

This is fast #7 for me. I brought some carrot sticks with in case I break down & just 'have to' eat but I'm going to try to hold out till evening. Not sure what I'm going to eat tonight yet though.

How much weight do you need to loose?
Good afternoon people, nearly there with fast day number 2. Have avoided the mid afternoon slump with 2 cups of bovril (42 cals) sugar snap peas (66cals) and a quorn hotdog (only 77cals). Just about to start baking my 36 Easter cupcakes to fill the weekend order. It's been great reading everyone's updates, really helps me stay focused, pass the time and realize I'm not doing this alone :smile:
This is my 4th fast day and the first time I am going to try to make it all the way until dinner and have all 500 calories then. Wish me luck! I am having trouble getting through the "breakfast" hunger wave right now!

I know what you mean, I'm glued to the laptop when I'm fasting. It helps to know that I'm not alone with my hunger :wink:

I haven't ate since 8pm last night. It's 4.30pm now. Going to keep going till 8pm then have my 500 cals :like:
My 2nd "fast" today - Thursday - I think I find it much easier to do at work and it doesn't mess up my family. I split the calories throughout the day - small breakfast - miso soup at lunch and then a light dinner.
Hi I am on my 17th fast day. I skip breakfast then have a couple of cracker breads with cottage cheese on for lunch. Tonight I will have a M&S feel full longer meal 380 cals. I am finding it O.K especially today I weighed in and still lost weight after my birthday weekend. Yahoo! :grin:

I'm doing the same thing today. Just before lunchtime was very hard, especially when my OH made himself a huge sandwich. And this afternoon seems very long, but I'm still hanging on in there! I'm out to book group meeting this evening at about 7, so will have an earlyish dinner, then distractions for the evening. Phew!

Fasting today too and have managed to fit in a 30min swim too. I am finding today more difficult though - I nearly reached for something to eat after picking the kids up before I remembered I was fasting!

I'm still going for the breakfast and evening meal option and this is my 5th fast day. I'm not expecting great things when I get on the scales tomorrow as I feel I've eaten worse on my non-fast days but who knows!

Man you're sharp! You must be fasting today
First time I've saved my calories for my evening meal and I couldn't eat all of it!!! I've saved it for a post gym snack later

Ketones, probably / hopefully. You've used up all your glycogen stores and now you are burning fat! That's good really.

Mind you, it might be that laptop you ate...
