Fasting today as well. Holiday here too, but planning to keep myself busy. Noticing that my eating is changing. Even though I did have the chocolate and enjoyed it, I did not want endless amounts of it, which is very unusual for me.
Good luck today
hello everyone,
just got started on the 5/2 diet. sounds amazing !!! today is my first fast. had a plain fat free yogurt for breakfast. & a cup of black coffee. did some cardio earlier on. so far, no hunger pangs yet. wish me luck
Fasting today and starting a fresh week with TDEE 1640 cal on feed days. I'm hungry since yesterday night.I hope It's not gonna be a long day.
Have A good day!
Should be fast day for me and husband but have decided against it as being a holiday we will be under each others feet all day and would probably end up falling out during the 4pm tetchy time. I will be doing a mini fast. Not sure what husband will do.Think it will be a 6. 1 this week. Thurs planned  .
I am fasting today. After a week of Passover food, I am really pleased with myself for staying the same weight this week. It is usually when I put on and have to begin a weight loss plan!
Fasting day for me also today.

Although I didn't eat mega amounts of food yesterday (breakfast, roast dinner, desert, cheese and biscuits, one hot cross bun) I went to bed feeling soooo full up.....and I am really looking forward to my fast today.

Poached egg on toast for lunch and then some tomato and lentil soup for dinner... :victory: oh and loads of water
Second week on 5:2 and Monday is fast day. Going out to eat late this afternoon so doing a mIni fast rather than missing it altogether. Have lost just under 1lb and an inch off my waist this week so am a very happy Easter :bunny:
Well now I know what NOT to do. Today is my normal fast Monday, but also a holiday and I had decided to play 18 holes of golf. I was OK in that I didn't feel hungry much but my golf was terrible and it was hot. By the time I got home at about 3:30, I decided that I felt terrible and needed to eat so would only do a half fast today - although I did last until 3:30 and I burnt 950 calories according to my fitbit and MFP.

I am actually on holidays for a couple of weeks and am off to Vietnam for nine days, so will probably have a break from fasting anyway. But will certainly get back on the wagon when I return
It's fast day for me too. We don't go big for Easter so my girls only have a small chocolate egg each and I have a Lindt bunny (hidden away). I took the girls shopping on Friday so their Easter present involved a rather expensive trip to The Body Shop. The biggest problem I have is that the girls are off school for the next 2 weeks!!! It's a beautiful day here, not a cloud in the sky, so I think we'll go for a walk along the beach this afternoon.
Did not intend to fast on holiday in Tenerife but hotel food has apparently disagreed with many of the Brits, self included, so I have done a 36 hour fast (effectively, since I did not retain anything) from Friday night to Sunday morning, when I managed a kiwi and a banana and 2 squares of dark chocolate. Sunbathed all day, went for an evening walk, felt OK so had chips and cheese for tea, which kept me up all night with the trots. So far just Earl Greg and a kiwi today-with a spare bar of Lindt if I ever get hungry again. It's not fair - I had already hit my target, lord knows what I weigh today...
Fasting today, and trying to keep myself busy round the house. I did manage to get a nice lie in, thanks to husband, and I have planned out some small meals to space out through the day - breakfast was a boiled egg with asparagus spears, lunch will be a satsuma and some marmite to drink, and for dinner I plan a big stir fry with mushrooms, red pepper and baby corn.

I did eat half my Lindt dark chocolate bunny yesterday, and am looking forward to picking up maybe one other quality egg in the sales later in the week. I was really hungry yesterday, but then I did run 10k in the morning!
Was planning on changing my usual Monday fast to Tuesday this week as today is bank holiday and we still have Easter eggs in the house.

However it is now quarter to 12 and I have only had a couple of black coffees so far and am not really feeling that hungry. Am popping into town now so will see how it goes - maybe a mini fast today and then proper fast tomorrow - we will see!

Have a good day everyone x
Same as Rachel really. We were going to move our fast day to tomorrow, but we've had a lie in this morning and it's already 12:30 and we haven't yet eaten so we might as well continue with today and eat properly tomorrow.

Here's hoping we don't kill each other later this afternoon!!
:bunny: :bunny: :bunny: I was going to fast today, but bank holiday and mums cooking, not a good combination for a fast, so it's going to be Tuesday and Thursday for me this week. I will need to it after the food filled weekend I've had
My 9th fast today, I've got today off as well which makes it a bit difficult.
But I've eaten a lot these past 2 days so happy to be fasting again :)

It's gonna be herbal tea and 40-cal hot chocolate and a couple of egg whites until an early dinner at 7!
