Fasting today as well. It was rather unplanned. Didn't feel like breakfast, so skipped it and then just had a cup of soup at mid afternoon rather than lunch as such, and so I've decided to have chicken with green beans (no potatoes) for tea. I'll probably be over on calories but will put in an extra half fast this week to compensate.

I think I was needing a fast as I felt my appetite had increased over the weekend, so my body decided to do it! Weird.
Into the home stretch here - some easy watching telly lined up (Mastermind, Miranda, Broadchurch), then I'll get an early night with my kindle. Not too headachy today, I went for 3 small meals so I could eat something alongside my husband, and there were plenty of leftovers from the weekend for him to fix himself something easily. We did walk to Dobbies this afternoon and bought a few half price fancy Easter goodies, which I shall look forward to tomorrow.
Well it is gone 9pm in France and I did a 26 hour fast. Have had my one meal and took dog for walk. Rotten headache and felt wobbly whilst cooking dinner. Just tired now so will have an early night and dream of porridge and toast for breakfast. Must remember to load the bread machine!
So this is week 9 for me and 17th fast, it has become such a routine I had stopped counting and had to check the calendar.

My first fast at home all day but that wasn't a problem.

My "suitable for home freezing" healthy readymeal was anything but. Yuck. For the first time after my evening meal I feel hungry and grumpy. :frown:

Early night I think!
I am feeling hungry too, though I've had a stir fry with a bit of chicken in it. Now having a cuppa, while my OH is EATING CHOCOLATE with his coffee. How mean is that??

That is mean! Hopefully you can have some tomorrow, I know I am planning to!

Only 10 hours till breakfast
I've got enough calories left for a mini Malteaster bunny! Shall I, shan't I?!!
no...it'll make you more hungry and give you a sugar high then low...have some no sugar cocoa.

Actually, have what you like, it's just some things help and other things don't but it'll vary from person to person.
JUST made it through my usual late night peckish time... have retreated to the safety of bed where I'm comforted by the thought of how relieved I'll feel in the morning that I didn't cave in to the peckish monkey on my back!! :monkey:
Fasting today ! My first fast since I started (8 week ago) on a non Working day! I don't like it one bit . While I've manage and scraped through the day until now. I've been plagued by the thought of food which never bothers me. Glad I've done it I like to keep to same days. This week so many people are beginning to notice I have 3 new fellow fasters! Today I was lifted in spirits by tryin on a bikini and not feeling ill, and fitting into a size 10 pair of trousers. Gosh I love this wol , good luck everyone xx
My husband and I have made it through to bedtime on our first fast day of our ninth week (I think). Nothing to eat all day, only black tea and water for me, coffe with semi-skimmed milk for him. Huge pan of chopped, braised vegetables (we're not very fond of stir fries), basmati rice and salmon for dinner at 7pm. Later we had a satsuma each plus more tea for me.

He lost 3.5 lb this week, making a total of 13.5 lb for him since 25th January. I lost 1 lb making a toatl for me of 15lb in the same length of time. Four weeks to go before we test our committment to this WOE on a fortnights cruise around the Baltic, on Queen Elizabeth. We have yet to decide what our strategy will be but, on previous occasions, we have come back considerably heavier and then several months later have had to calorie count like mad to get rid of that weight plus more! I think that only time will tell how we get on this time!

Well done to all those who have fasted today. No doubt we'll meet again on this forum!
