Third week, 6th fast today - let's see how it goes. Managing to keep it up.
We are looking forward to fasting today ! Gets easier as we go along as this is our 12 th fasting day. No big deal now. Also have our son and daughter-inlaw who started last week on board now. They have seen our terrific results. Good luck everybody
Fasting over here in Philadelphia USA. 10:30a in the morning. So far so good. Got a great workout in this morning and hoping to make it until dinner for my 500 calories. I have shrimp cocktail and stir fry veggies on the menu. Hope everyone's fast day is going well!
Hello fellow Fasters!

It's not the best fasting day today to me. I have a split headache and a rumbling noise in my tummy. Dinner in 2 hours time and then early bed time for me.

Best wishes to all!
Yep, it's Thursday, Fastday. Down to one meal on fast days at 4:00PM. Maybe we should change Monday to "Fastday" and Thursday to "Lastday"!! Love coffee so this really is no problem for me, love this plan because it suits my "All or Nothing" mentality!
Fast day for me too. Thought it would be hard as I woke up at 4.30 and was rather hungry. Gave in at 11am and had 25g porridge with boiled water = 75cals. Had green tea to keep me going. Just looked at the clock.... Dinnertime soon .... 2hrs to go. Chicken stir fry for me tonight.

Hope you are all doing well and having a good fast day. Keep focused and think of all the good it is doing us!!!

Lesley
This is my first day fasting, so any tips would be great, so far it has gone ok
Nearly 9:00 am here on the west (wet) coast of Canada. Fasting today (my 3rd) Jut finished my coffee with cream and yogurt with strawberries and hemp seeds =204 cals.

Not working today so I'll try to keep myself busy and hydrated until dinner. I'll probably have a bowl of soup, then an early night since I'm back to work in the morning.

First weigh-in this morning after a week on the plan and I'm down 2.4 lbs!. Thrilled and motivated!
Nearly 6pm in France and just put the veggies to roast in balsamic vinegar. Will add a veggie burger for me (lime and chilli) and steak haiche for OH. Really looking forward to it as nothing to eat since 7pm last night. Has been quite easy and have kept busy. OH out at committee meeting this evening so have some sewing planned.
After a good start (strawberries and Special K (no milk) only 94 cals) I screwed up my calculations at lunchtime and left myself only 50 calories for supper! But I've resisted the temptation to throw in the towel. I'll have something small for supper and if I go up to 600 cals today, it really doesn't matter in the long run. This is for life, not just for today!
Wow...7 pages of fasters around the world before morning hits southern Cal. Just started off with Throat Coat (Traditional Medicinal--very good) since my throat is a bit scratchy. Will have more tea soon, coffee for my lunch. Planning to keep going with kombucha and will finish off the evening after my swim workout with some kind of soup. Had a lot of delicious Indian food the other day so I am keeping to a minimum of calories today, say 350.
I'm in too! Halfway thru the day, and only 160 calories in.
Feeling good and strong!
Hi All,
Been fasting today, just had green tea all day, a cup of bovril and lunchtime and another mid afternoon. Like Gamedamsel I use the BBC Good Food website (most days) and tonight we had
http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/9021 ... -bean-stew with half an Uncle Bens pouch of white and wild rice for quickness.

I bought a tub of Highlights Caramel instant hot chocolate today (40 calories a cup) and might have that later tonight. Possibly a Hartleys 10 calorie jelly too.

2 weeks and 4 fasts in, I am finding this surprisingly easy and enjoyable to do. I have already noticed that my favourite skirt is feeling looser around the waist.

Tomorrow I will have a sandwich for lunch as I love bread, curry for dinner, a nice glass of red and a chocolate bar. All my weaknesses

Hope you all had a good day and good luck to the Friday fasters
I'm fasting today. Woke up with a headache, my aerobics class night was super hard. I'm trying to replenish lost fluids from yesterday. I'm feeling hungry, going to eat my applesauce soon. yah! I noticed by late in the day I start to crave dinner and am stuffed with a salad and lean cuisine salad creation. I do notice on my feast days my appetite to pig out is less.

Unfortunately my weight loss is very slow going. .2 since last week.

Hope everyone is losing.
Got my 2 medicine pills down, breakfast with the first one was 2 carrots and lunch was with 3 carrots. Looking forward to dinner in 4 hours, going to have a can of Chicken & Stars soup, and probably a salad.
