I have found today harder than I usually do. Not sure why but despite being busy, I've had an underlying tummy rumble all day. OH WELL, tomorrow I can eat what I like hurrah!
I'm on fasting day #2. The first one was easy peasy but today I'm starving. 45 minutes til dinner!!! I am looking forward to reading some posts about recipes and quick low cal snacks.

Don't usually like sparkling water but might give it a try on Monday. Not long to go now. Chicken Broccoli and Jacket Potato for dinner. Can't wait.

I purchased some seltzer water and added a sugar free drink flavoring for interest. In the US, brands like Mio, Dansai, etc make water flavorings. That and herbal tea have really helped me in the past 2 fast days.
We wet baby's head and in total I've had 850 cals. Not a fast day, but booger, it ain't every day you have a beautiful granddaughter!
Congratulations on the grandbaby! Of course you have to celebrate!

Fasting today. Succumbed to about 1 bite of a homemade brownie at bowling. I managed to restrain myself from taking any more. Then for lunch I had 2 cups of homemade veg soup--very good, if I do say so myself. I figure myself at about 200 calories max with 300 for supper--probably a big spinach salad with some broiled chicken breast. I'm salivating just thinking about it. Sort of pitiful, huh?
Night all,
Had green tea and fizzy water all day, bovril for lunch and baked cod with lemon, dill & black pepper with mushrooms and spinach for dinner. Had a 10 calorie jelly this evening and a 40 calorie hot chocolate before bed. Been really hungry all day, not enough to make me eat, just annoying. Thinking about scrambled egg on toast for elevenses tomorrow. Will have fasted for 36 hours.
Well done everyone
my first fast day! on nights so ate at 2am yesterday and 6pm this evening.
going to have homemade soup at 2am
not sure if im doing this right ha
Well I think I'm over about 100 calories today, my daughter offered me the last chocolate chip cookie she baked and it was comfort food since I still don't feel well.
Well my daughter is finishing her first fast day tonight. She called me while driving home (Bluetooth) from the store laden with veggies and fruits and eggs. She said she was tired and crabby and very, very hungry. This is the girl who has never, ever dieted. Gotta  it!

I asked her what she'd eaten today and I mentally calculated that she'd eaten maybe 200 cal. so far. (I have had lots of experience at dieting. She was planning on making a huge salad and was surprised when I told her she should have an egg on top of it. She didn't know that only about 80-90calories. She'll learn.

I'm going to give a suggestion I've seen on here about having things prepared the day before a fast day to make it easier, no cooking, no thinking. I'm going to point her here--I think she'll really like it.
