Morning all. I'm in today too - my fourth fast and feeling great :-) Lots of water and black tea for me until 6.30ish later when I'm having quorn cottage pie with loads of veggies which mounts up to 477 calories :-)

Good luck all :-)

Have a good one.

Congratulations on your 20th wedding anniversary :like: - we celebrate ours in May which is why I'd like to lose a bit to get in a nice dress I've not worn for a while :-)

Hi fasting for me too, had my peppermint tea to start the day. I was working in our lab yesterday happily wearing a 16 lab coat as the 18 is now too big.Happy days! It's all worth it!
Morning all! Also in today, have butternut squash soup to look forward to later if needed for lunch- may have a stir fry or stew for tea, depends if this weather stays crappy!
I'm in today!

It's a momentous day as we have a new granddaughter!
I'm in - second fast, managed the first one with not much of a problem, hope this one goes the same way.

I know carbs are not recommended on fast days but I actually fancy beans on toast, I'll see how I feel later.
Have a good day all. xx

Check out my blog post for last Friday for a fabulous beans on toast recipe that fits into a fast day no problem. We have that almost every Friday night for tea.

Awwww congratulations to you and your family! :)
I'm joining you guys today, fast number 15 for me I think :)
Started my day with a fruit tea before setting off for work with a big bottle of water!
All the best guys!
Thank you wineoclock and fishbaum, will be an interesting day, have read alot on here so hopefully that will help me get through my first one. :-)
I'm fasting today. Hope it will be better than Mon. Horrible day . Hungry and miserable. I thought I had got passed those days ! Ok so far so hope it carries on that way.
Congratulations to everyone for all the good effort, news, results et al. Today is my 8th fast day and I will just have coffee and an Oxo or two before dinner. We usually eat about 8ish on a fast day and I didn't really eat tea last night, wasn't feeling well after having some birthday cake for a friend at the pub around 7. I find that I still cook pretty normally on a fast day, I just eat less of the main dish and lots more veg. (I have two teenage boys and a partner to feed.) Tonight we are having Toad in the Hole with green beans. My meal, with one sausage, will total about 340 calories. The boys will each have two sausages and dessert so that fills them up. I am loving this woe and have now lost all the Christmas weight I put on and just need to get off about six more pounds to fit into my dress for my daughter's wedding in July. I still have quite a bit more to lose (about 2 stone)but over the course of three years I have lost 60 pounds (about 4.25 stone) and managed to keep off all but 10 pounds of it, so that is included in the 2 stone I need to lose/relose. FYI, I lost the previous weight just by counting calories and having a job that was mostly walking/on my feet.
I have been fasting today. It's now 7.15pm thursday 18th. This is my third fast day and I think it is becoming easier. I had white tea for breakfast, white tea at 11 am, a banana for lunch and minestrone soup for dinner. A herb tea before bed and I'm done. Only had a couple of hunger pangs and they went pretty fast.
I'm in :victory: Had a really bad fast on Monday, i.e., gave in!! So I'm doing today and tomorrow (or/and possibly Sunday as I'll be out during the day anyway which'll make it easier) as for today, lots going on to keep me distracted. I was thinking about trying a water only fast today but I've got turkey for tea just in case I get a wobble on!!

Have a great day everyone :clover:
Hi all! Yep I'm in for today! Think this is my 22nd fast day and was really looking forward to it. After hitting a plateau for 3 weeks last month the last 2 weeks have actually seen a loss for me so I am super-motivated this week! I even wore my favourite jeans and they were so loose my hubbie started calling me 'saggy arse'!
Woke up feeling very hungry this morning but a cup of tea sorted that out and I have so much work to do today I will be focussed on that.
Lunch for me will probably be a cup-a-soup and piece of fruit and dinner this evening will be a low-fat ready meal I think with the usual bucket load of water during the day.
Good luck everyone, speak to you skinny-minnies soon!!xxx
