Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
I'm hoping this will be quite east to follow.
Kev.
Am away next week for a three days so I will struggle to fit in 2 fast days so will probably only do one and eat less on the feast days.

New to the forum (I stumbled across it the other day when I was researching the diet) glad to see so many people doing so well!
Today is my 1st fast day, I think today is going to be more of a mental battle than physical. I'm planning on just drinking plenty of water and green tea during the day and having a small meal tonight.
Always quite relived on fast day as still can't quite get over the guilt of eating 'normally' on a feast day. I'm still making better choices but yesterday just kept eating, I wasn't hungry half the time but was working from home and just wanted to eat! I am trying to eat within an 8 hr window now though so had my last food at 4pm and then went to the gym and didn't have anything after so hopefully that minimised the damage!
I'm on my first jug of green tea and will eat at lunchtime and then that will be it. I love facing every day as a challenge though and feel so proud when I get one more under my belt - it's my 8th fast day today - wow can't believe how quickly they've clocked up!
Good luck everyone!
First day of fasting today just finished an apple 55 cal and a bowl of porridge 216 cal hoping to set me up for the day. Planning a walk on my lunch break instead of sitting in the cafe to keep me motivated until I finish at 8.
Wish me luck!
After my first fast on Tuesday, which was difficult, I decided to skip breakfast today and try to save all my calories for dinner. I found myself hungry after both small meals last time and the day is going well so far. Up to my elbows in library books so work is keeping my mind off things. Not too hungry yet but time will tell!
Good luck everyone
Good luck to the first time fasters x
Hit a plateau for the last 3 weeks (lost the plot a bit) so am hoping for a result this week - have certainly been more motivated this week .
Would really like to reach my target by mid-May - it's my birthday and a couple of friends are having a 'significant' birthday party then too. Then of course I'll set another target!
Really loving the Hairy Dieters cookbook, btw, my only grumble is it takes time to cook! Great, tasty recipes and calories are very helpfully counted.
Congratulations to Pennyforthem on your new granddaughter
My friend told me I am the third person to now report good things about this plan, so she's inspired to have a go
I don't know whether I've been particularly lucky or if its down to me always drinking a high volume of liquid (mostly water) anyway, but I've really had no problems on my fast days to date except feeling cold when I wasn't able to be active.

It's a momentous day as we have a new granddaughter!
Congratulations! "Wetting the baby's head" tomorrow then? Or are you allowing yourself a small drink on a fast day? :O
My fasting days have not been too difficult apart from the last one. I woke at 3am feeling very hungry and could not get to sleep, got up at 4 and had a hot drink then went on the computer to breakfast time, On my other fasting days I woke at my usual time 7am
I hope I will sleep OK tonight, don't want this to be the start of a habit
