I'm at 5pm, and all is fine on teh hunger front. I'm an early eater, so it's nearly 24 hours since Wed dinner and apart from thinking a bit too much about how I'm going to enjoy sushi for lunch tomorrow, it's been easy.

I do have sinus throbbing though :( so think it'll be an early night because of that.

Redhead, our beautiful sunny Queensland skies have turned grey for the afternoon, and some rain has swept across. But back to sun tomorrow :)
I've decided to go for it after all. The last couple of times I had eaten too many carbs the next day and my digestive system, how can I put it, has been loose. I guess I need to learn my lesson. I'm away for a long weekend tomorrow, so flying to Birmingham so I have planned to break my fast in a different way tomorrow so that I don't have any issues on the plane.
I'm in for the 36 hours, although I will have to go round to 9am tomorrow as I ate late last night! Completely forgot to eat earlier
I have found the 'buttermint tea', so I'll be having that and water.
Weigh in on Saturday morning, like Suchard007, so hopefully there will be pounds off. That will be a good start to the Bank Holiday weekend!
Good on you fasters, liquid or otherwise. I'm fasting today as well, but don't feel quite up to a liquid-only day. The scales had some good news this morning: I've lost 3.5 kg so far (started on April 1st). Another 9 kgs to go. Have a lovely day all of you.
Yep i'm on another liquid fast!
Hi there again gang!!! I'm in too!! 4th water fast and doing well!! A big hello and hugs to all u 36ers-let's do this!!! Sorry for delay in posting, been on a 10 mile run & only just logged on-HATE that I missed out on Redhead's roll call :frown: .will keep updated on all your news today xxx
I'm in.
Thought I was going to have to abandon ship last night as I had an impromptu seesion with a fried of mine which saw me drink a bottle of presseco(yes piggy I know, but you just don't feel it going down when you're setting the world to right)
I swore i would never inflict a fast on myself with a hangover(after one previous horrible fast day) but i woke up this morning feeling fantastic, not a trace of a hangover. Go Figure!!!!

So will have to fast till 12 tomorrow to be fully 36hr complaint.
Bring it on !!!!!!!!!

No Bother to us 36'rs
Hope its going well with everyone
Its 11:30 and I am not feeling hungry at all !
Not working today been shoping, getting ready for a long hill walking weekend in the Lakes. We are going tomorrow afternoon.
It looks like spring and summer have arrived at last in Manchester, its sunny and warm !!! hope it lasts the weekend.
My plans for this afternoon is to go for a short 20 minute jog, have a hot bath and catch up on my paper work
I'm in. This will be my 3rd 36 hour fast.
Thanks for the welcome Redhead. As it happens, my coffee date was cancelled :frown: so my breakfast was extremely modest.

Wildmissus, last week I took some advice I'd picked up from here and broke my fast with protein (eggs) and veg (asparagus) and was fine. Today I had a very modest portion of carbs for breakfast and had to cut my subsequent shopping trip short   I'm guessing it's less of a problem for those who generally get bunged up (maybe a solution to their problems :?: ) but as I don't, I think I'll have to be careful after a 36er from now on.

TML 13 - syrup in water?!! I assume you don't mean golden syrup - the stuff my dad eats out of a tin on his toast?!

Around here (a couple of hours south of Montreal), it's fashionable to put real maple syrup and cayenne pepper in one's water when fasting for detox/cleansing purposes. But we are maple syrup country, and find a reason to use it everywhere ;-)
Yep I'm right with you

Here's hoping I'm still onboard at bedtime!I didn't find last week too bad, in fact it ended up been 43 hours so I'm hoping I can do it again today. Its my last fast before my holiday on Saturday  so I must stay stong!
Ok 36ers - Moogie, jacksati, katamac, eckat, winsome, minumonline, Suchard007, Bssh, Wildmisses (founder), hilaryjane, jimhough, sarahD20p, Emerald17, aamy and meribel46 - that's 16 (inc me)! Hope I haven't missed anyone!

I'm raising a glass of water to you all! Today is a day for appreciating life, not food!

Tomorrow I shall raise a glass of something rather stiffer to everyone when I break not only my water fast but my 13 day - longest in my adult life!!! - 'booze fast'. I'll probably then instantly fall on the floor if everyone is right about 5:2 reducing the alcohol tolerance!
How is everyone doing. It's lunch time here in the UK. I did a strenuous, sweaty workout at the gym then did some work. I work from home so rather than eat lunch I'm going to hoover the house in time for Bank Holiday weekend, then pop to the shops. I save all my chores for a 36er day. Seems the best strategy to me. Will check in later on.
Me too, getting loads done around the house today as work is pretty quiet and things have been a right mess in as we've had the builder & decorator here the last couple of weeks. Got the house to myself again, but so much to sort out - especially as going on holiday next week!

Glorious sunshine today so time to hang out some laundry and do some weeding :)

I think the real challenge tonight will be watching the Masterchef finals!!
