Ok folks, I'm water fasting on Thursday 1 May - Suchard007 is with me, who else?!
I'll probably do it next week or the week after that but I will add some syrup to my water.
Best of luck to both of you!!!
I'm in :)
Don't think I could do that, I really look forward to my evening meal.
Iam liquid fasting from dinner today to breakfast Friday; not quite water fasting; I will be having the odd cup of tea and coffee with a little milk.
I find if I only have water I have headaches; caffeine withdrawal :?:
I'm in. Will be my 3rd just water. I'm going to take an apple bushwalking with me. Just in case. I didn't need it last time though, so I'm pretty sure I'll be fine again today.
I'm doing my modified version again..... Extra dilute protein shake and coffee to start the day then water till this evening and another dilute shake.....

It worked for me on Monday and helps me to not have too much caffeine so I sleep better too
I'm with wineoclock, I'm afraid I enjoy my evening meal too much.

Nothing but water for 24 hours though
I'm out for coffee and patisserie this morning so did mine yesterday. Got 1.5 hours to go but won't actually eat until about 11 whereupon I will be breaking my fast in style (but not huge portions) This 36er has been a breeze!

Hope today goes well for all of you, and will try to synchronise next week.
I'm in. White coffee mid-morning, plus black tea and water till after my run tomorrow morning.

Good luck everyone.
Morning all - here we are again then - really looking forward to today (mad or what!!) - particularly looking forward to Saturday's weigh in and measure (my waist hasn't changed for eons, no idea what's going on but hey ho !!!!) Have a good day everyone - see you all later for support/encouragement/distraction as required :clover:
OK, so a big shout out to: Suchard007, Moogie, Jacksati, Katamac (so jealous of you living in gorgeous Queensland - desperate to visit again), eckat, minumonline !!

Let's grab this day by the kahoonas and really give 'er dixie!!

Winsome, you can hang out with us but don't tempt us with whatever you're eating today!! Well done for yesterday!

TML 13 - syrup in water?!! I assume you don't mean golden syrup - the stuff my dad eats out of a tin on his toast?!

AnneD and wineoclock, 24 hours is good going too. We just push on through dinner time on a fast day. You both have great losses so it shows that the 24 fast is also effective for many.

Keep er lit folks!!
Yey, shiny new thread, thanks Redhead.

I'm doing a zero calorie 36er today too. I'm framing it in my head as a perfectly normal, routine Thursday activity and so far that way of thinking is working.

But it's only 7.30 am :-)

I'm usually fine not eating for 24 hours as that's my usual 5:2 thing. I've been doing it that way since January. I keep busy with work, the gym, looking after my 4 year old after school. It's dinner time, around 9pm, that is my pinch point. But I've got two 36ers under my belt so...
Good luck everyone, did mine yesterday, although it was hard I am glad I stuck to it, I feel fantastic this morning and not hungry yet. Passed 36 hrs at 7.30am.
Good luck today hope it goes well for you:)
