I'm in, sorry I'm so late today. Week 7 fast number 14

Green tea all day, baked fish and steamed vegetables for dinner. Will have a cup of chai, a 10 calorie jelly later and a 40 calorie hot chocolate before bed. Creature of habit!! Losing 1lb per week and happy with that.

Hope you all had a good day and our friends across the pond are having a good day :like:
I'm in today and after my unsuccessful fast on Monday when I caved at 1pm and ate everything in sight I have done much better today. I'm over but only by around 40 calories because I allowed myself a low cal hot choc instead of the massive quantity of cocolate I was really craving.

I had a banana and a satsuma during the day with one large strong coffee with sweetner and a little coffeemate and one mint munchie when the sweet craving got too much (damned hormones). Been drinking green tea with lemon and diet coke for the rest of the day. Dinner was 5 bacon medallions (140 calories yay!! Love bacon), a tin of tomatoes and one slice of gluten free bread with a yummy mini milk (30cal) ice lolly for afters :victory: I'm quite pleased with myself.

My brand new rowing machine arrives tomorrow and I'm looking forward to upping the exercise with its help and tightening up these uder used and significantly buried muscles which I know are in here somewhere.
Hi all, I have been on 5:2 fast diet almost 5 weeks now but I have not lose any weight, I don't know to give up or not. I need to lose 10 pound but seems like I cant do it even I did fast Mon-wed- fri last week.I do eat about 400 calories on my fast day only 6 pm so no breakfast no lunch plenty black tea until 6pm then to next morning until 10 am.I am not big eater on nonfast days either. So I really don't know what to do any suggestion? What week looks like this,
Sunday 6:00 pm last meal until
Monday 6:00 pm 400 calories dinner nothing else until
Tuesday 7:00am coffee with milk then normal day 6:00 pm last meal
Wednesday 6"00 pm 400 calories dinner nothing else until
Thursday 7:00am coffee with milk then normal day 6:00 pm last meal
Friday 7:00am coffee with milk then normal day 6:00 pm last meal
Saturday and Sunday normal meals
Am I doing anything wrong, because I am not losing any weight
I'm fasting today too and it's nearly time for bed :) Baked beans on toast is all I've eaten today, needed some carbs. Owen888 maybe you are not eating enough? Perhaps someone who is more knowledgeable can help you out?
Liquid fast today - DONE!
Trying to just get in before Midnight.... but didn't quite manage it!
I fasted today, my second of this week. Only managed one fast last week. Never mind, the beauty's the flexibility.
All the best folks, am off to bed now.
Today is my second fast of week three. I am still surprised at how easy this has been so far. One more week and I will do a weigh in. I know I've lost as my clothes are baggy and I feel lighter :)
Me again! owen888 I think it sounds like you need to eat more. Keep to 500 cals on your fast days and perhaps make sure you have some protein and not too many carbs.
It's early days for you as well, I would give it a few weeks to see how things go. Do your clothes feel looser at all? Not everyone loses weight straight away and no two people lose in exactly the same way...
Hope this helps, I'm sure a moderator will get back to you as well.
Ggood luck with 5:2 and try not to feel discouraged.
