Fasting today, I am really struggling and I am not sure why, I had lovely salmon and Veggies for dinner, but I feel really hungry now, Im going to have a 40 cal chocolate drink in a moment.
I'm struggling today too. Don't know why. Freezing cold too. Just having a cup of chai and will have a 40 calorie hot chocolate before bed. Family are tucking into homemade goodies too just to make it worse.
I've done my first fast today and have not found it difficult - I am planning to fast again on Wednesday as I am due to meet friends for a curry on Thursday. I've been on a perpetual (unsuccessful) diet for most of my life and am wondering ....can this really work for me??
Fasting today (teas and coffees) but forgot my kombucha. It is ridiculously hot so I don't have any "freezy" problems as some fasters might. Much too hot (38) today and sitting in the car hasn't helped since the AC takes some time to kick in. Not even sure what I might have for my 500 calories later in the day--I usually have a leftover soup but nothing like that available so I may have to whip together a little miso soup...easy but satisfying. Before all that happens will put in my laps in the swimming pool and feel some satisfying hunger/muscle pains. Whoa...does it help to be a masochist on this diet?
Just had some lovely sea scallops and broccolini with a bit of olive oil & lemon. Saved a bit of room for some warm skim milk cocoa a bit later this eve. Another fast day down (almost). Ahhh. That's it for me until Thurs! Have a great week, all!
Fasting today started off great when I got on the scale this morning to find that I had not gained any weight (maybe lost a half a pound) even though I went to a picnic/bbq in the afternoon and a graduation party for family friends in the evening yesterday. Had the fun of seeing former Spanish students and their parents. It was also way cool being told I look 10 years younger than when I used to teach.
Always a boost!

No problems fasting today--about 10 pistachios then enforced non-eating while waiting in the social security office (65 tomorrow!). Then a skinny latte from Starbucks. An hour of sweating and fun at Zumba this evening, followed by 5 almonds, a huge baby kale salad with balsamic and a snapper filet followed by a tiny 40 cal piece of dark chocolate with chili. I think I made it--right around 500 cals.

Birthday dinner tomorrow--NFD, yay!

wow congrats on you birthday boardergirl :present: :cake: :drink: not sure on how the time difference works between us but your already 65 here lol is that a good or bad thing?
( I'm not sure I'm going to take that is a really good thing)have a great day :grin:
