Certainly will! You too.
Sorry guys, fell a bit by the wayside this week (for various reasons, not worth going in to). Have struggled to do 2 ordinary 5:2 days but think I've just about managed. Will see what the scales tell me at the weekend (we must be coming up for the official June weigh in shortly?) Will try harder next week to join you back with the 36ers. Nice to see so many posts on this thread
Well yesterday didnt quite go to plan. Liquid fast going very well, till an unexpected invite to dinner in the evening. So enjoyed lovely 2 course meal, and a couple of glasses of wine, so not counting it at as a fast day at all ! I wish I could earmark 3 days a week for fasting, so I could handle these unexpected events, but next few weeks are really booked up already.
Done and dusted completed 36 hrs with a session at the gym and scales exactly the same as last weigh. Considering 2 x36 this week and with a total of 5 x 36 hr liquid fasts I had hoped for more of a downward trend. Still thrilled with my overall progress though but I have had to be very committed to get the results that I have through May.
I am going to try 16/8 +5/2 As I feel the 6-8 hour window where I can eat and not calorie count might be a better direction
Mariposa
I wanted to mention I had those achey legs last night at the end of my fluids only day and I was freezing too. I had a magnesium tab late in the afternoon when the aching started. I wonder if anyone has talked in detail about what brings the aches and cold on
I am on my second liquid fast. Psychologically a bit difficult today. I am going to do it though. I really want to see a change for the better on the scales on Monday!!

On Tuesday only cals I had were in stock cube soup and low fat milk in one coffee.
Going to try first liquids only day today, lots of green tea and water, maybe a slim a soup in the evening if I get desperate! Still trying to recover the half a stone put on over holiday so hoping this will be a kick start - 2 binge days this week which I have no excuses for!!
Never heard of a magnesium tablet, did it work? I'm accidentally fasting again today so a 4:3 this week. Still undecided whether to do a complete fast or a 500 cal dinner or a normal dinner! So far haven't been hungry at all but I know I haven't drunk enough again so trying to down some liquid now else I'm sure my achey legs will be back again! Don't know why I find it so difficult to drink! Anyway, seems like lots of people have had tricky weeks and I'm sure it'll happen to me at some point too, sure next week will bring more success for all. Happy fasting everyone :0)
Bedtime and I didn't succumb to food, so 4:3 liquid fast this week, am rather pleased with myself! Won't be doing this every week but might be helpful to confuse my body into dropping more lbs of fat, looking forward to Monday weigh in now!
Mariposa, I look forward to hearing about your weigh in. I did 4:3 this week after intending to do ADF but didn't quite manage. only one of thise was a liquid one.
Did 4:3 this week but unfortunately none of them were liquid fasts, I had around 400 cals each fast day. Weight in this morning, 100g lost , happy with that. Looking forward to read about your weigh in results mariposa after 3 liquid fasts.
Don't think I could manage ADF, seems very relentless and think I'd go bonkers feeding on normal days! Feeling a bit impatient at the moment with my weight loss as I can really see results now and I'm close to having 2 stone off, then I think 7 more lbs after that and I'm half way to my goal! Must stop thinking ahead so much as I don't really want to lose so quickly as worried about saggy skin particularly on my arms, I've avoiding sleeveless/short sleeve tops for so long the idea that I still might not be able to wear them because of arm sag is a sad thought!
Well just broke my fast with a dippy egg and bagel, was absolutely gorgeous but I feel absolutely stuffed now! Last day of half term with the kids and going to relax as much as possible as been a hectic week! Good luck Friday fasters
Mariposa re magnesium think GMH mentioned it in another post and Dominic put a link in somewhere but it usually helps in restless leg syndrome. Troubles some people at night and wakes them up and magnesium suppliment helps. That was what my legs felt a bit like so I took some magnesium complete from health food shop. I had also gone to the gym and got stuck into the cross trainer and the bike so that may have been the cause.

I found the latest 36 hr easy to do but feel more whacked so am going to have a break and join wendy darling and a few others on 5:2 16/8 next week. Good luck
Hi gillymary and mariposa...........really interested in your weight losses. I'm slowing up a lot. Posted my monthly results and I only lost 2lb this month. I'm not disappointed just a little disheartened as it is still a bag of sugar that I'm not carrying around with me but it would have be nice if it was double that. My pattern at the moment is to put on one week and lose the next.

I've put my little used hula hoop in the lounge so that I can do kenc's NEAT whilst watching TV and as I've never been able to hula hoop I have another goal to aim for.
I've just posted in the monthly weigh-in - I've gained this month, despite moving to liquid fasting, and being serious about NEAT. Doesnt make sense. Waist down slightly though, so thats really good.

Keep on going.
