Re: Fasting Monday 3rd June

Hellllooo! My first fast of the week~ kept busy at work, then went for a very brisk walk this evening followed by a salad & yoghurt & pineapple. :like:
I've been over eating on feed days & was considering trying something different BUT it's me that's been sabotaging me NOT 5:2. Feeling more positive, know what I'm doing and what I have to do together there.
Planning on being more focused and no sugar during the week & more relaxed (within reason!) at the weekends. Got my mojo back!
Time for an Options drink & then bed!

Hope everyone has had a good fast day!

I've found it easy to fast today and in fact have only had 350 calories in total  . I also had bursts of energy which is unusual for me on fast days, so my husband and I went for a long walk before dinner and then I did some housework afterwards. Maybe the lovely weather has helped.

Next fast on Wednesday - hope that goes as well as today.

Had a really good day at a course this morning, then busy in the garden and hardly a tummy rumble, finished by a great beach BBQ with friends. I'm not too worried by hitting just over 700 cals. It could have been much more!
How does this sound?

Just want to check with you experts...
Today nothing but peppermint tea and diet coke until 5pm. When I had a few pieces of celery and raw carrot. Then supper 2eggs scrambled skimmed milk. 1slice smoked salmon. 1slice of toast.
More peppermint tea diet coke and now cadburys highlights hot choc 40 calories( but only one spoonful so maybe less)
Am I inside 500 calories? :dazed:

Sounds about right to me...
Celery - I wouldn't even worry about what's in it unless you ate a whole bunch ;) Carrots, minimal. Say maybe 20 cals there max.
2 eggs will be 160-200 cals depending on size, skimmed milk not sure off the top of my head, I know 100ml of semi skimmed is 50 cals, and I doubt you used anything like 100ml. Salmon, don't know, I don't eat fish but gather it's pretty low. A big slice of lean ham is about 20-30 cals so reckon on similar to that? Toast - depends on type of bread and size, could be anything from 80-150 cals.

Sounds like a fast day to me, even if you went over a bit I wouldn't worry :)

5th Fast. I have been good on my fast days but not so good on my eat days. I have been able to stick to under 600 cals for fast days. Today is a fast day and I am trying, again, no calories until dinner time ~6pm. It has worked well for the last 2 fast days.

Let's do this!!!
