Man I'm hungry! Plan was to make it through to dinner then have everything then, might be reconsidering ...
I am also rumbling like mad & can't wait for supper time. I think I will have a coffee to keep me going until then
Just getting pangs now so cup of hot white choc incoming....
Snap, just had a cup of miso soup to stave off pangs for hopefully a couple of hours..
I'm literally starving today. Had a soup earlier and a yoghurt but REALLY want a roast dinner. Think its because I didn't have one yesterday cos of the weather. Oh well prawn salad will have to do roast dinner tomorrow......
well
it is not easy at all...
another day friday
but can not stop thinking about tomorrow :)
I use to eat around 1200 kcal but here its shows me that i should have 1600 ..do you think I ate not enough and my weight stopped because of this
I do my training once, twice a week ( two hours kickboxing)
I'm in! Repairing after a weekend of good (ran a 10k race yay!) and bad (celebrated with way too many pints oh no!)

Holding steady with coffee, tea, sparkling water until dinner. Will have seared skate (fish, not roller), some tabouleh and broccoli. And have saved some for a little snack for the evening, usually a hot chocolate or frozen treat.

Good luck all! :geek:
I knew I shouldn't have said that Monday fasts were easy this morning! I've been struggling all day, very unusual for me. Not long to go though; Quorn shepherd's ;ie about to be served up.
I'm fasting today as Mondays, and Thursdays are my normal fast days. I've been having a rough go of it since the Memorial weekend here in the states. I shifted my normal fast day from Monday to Tuesday during the holiday because I knew I wouldn't be able to fast on Monday Memorial day. Since then I can't seem to make it through a fast day without cheating. So far today I'm doing alright, but it's still early 10:00 am and I keep thinking about all the food I would like to eat. Trying to keep busy as that really does help keep my mind off of food.
Today's been a battle of wills between my inner " feed me "voice and my "5:2" voice. Winning so far but my stomach is howling at me. Probably didn't help baking a batch of choc chip rock cakes which have filled my house with a heavenly just baked cake smell..... Roll on dinner time....
Phew it's 6.30 which means I can now go and start preparing my dinner - looks like I'm not the only one who's found it tough going today. I've been ravenous all day and it's just been growing and growing all afternoon. Been weeding the garden which has helped me keep occupied during the late afternoon slump.

BBQ tofu with maple glaze & salad tonight - yum! It's just tofu dusted with paprika/cumin/other BBQ type herbs & spices then fried in a little olive oil each side til crisp then add a tsp of maple syrup & bubble up. Utterly gorgeous. Then frozen berries & yogurt for pud. Was going to have them earlier but decided to see if I could hold out so I could have them this evening.

Hope you all enjoy your evening meals, or cups of tea if you're fasting all evening too (rather you than me) - roll on brekkie tomorrow!!!!
Hi, I haven't been on the Forum for a while as have been working away from home, and trying to maintain if not lose weight by doing at least one fast per week for the past two weeks. I've not put anything on and have even managed to lose 100gms somewhere along the line! I am fasting today and *may* do 4:3 this week to try and galvanise my body into action again!

I find it is definitely harder to fast when you haven't done it religiously for a couple of weeks and I need to get back into my routine because it really works for me when I do. I'll update my weight at the weekend after 5:2 or 4:3.
today is a public holiday in my country (Portugal) but since i'am working and geting used to fasts on monday and thursday i'm gonna stick to it!
banana pancakes for breakfast and a big boul of brocoli soup and ricotta cheese for dinner :)
Good luck diet mates!
Pumpkin 42 - I only did the 8/16 because I KNEW I would not fast at all and wanted to maintain some sort of discipline! My weight on this WOL does go up and down and on and on, but it is shifting steadily downward. And I am VERY happy about that! I tried the 8/16, first to see if I could do it because I do eat breakfast most days, though not fast days. 2nd, I wanted to see if some weight would be lost, but I don't think this last weekend was a good trial. I was away from home, eating out mostly. I usually weight in the AM, and I wasn't able to - plus I did eat Chinese - so I figure most, if not all of that 2 lbs. is water and will be gone by tomorrow. 3rd, I am thinking I might use 8/16 for maintenance, so am trying it out. I am also thinking of continuing to skip breakfast on the weekdays, weekends are a different matter and I want to eat!

I have found that if I eat around my TDEE on non-fast days, I lose weight. That means some days are well below, and others well above, but they balance out. I hope this helps.
Hey Monday Fasters!!!
Hope its gone well!!!
I managed on a banana and some cherry tomatoes all day until now when I just had my dinner. A marks and sparks squid and couscous dish for 300 cals. Yum. I had some lettuce and cucumber too.
Anyway I have about 55 calories left and my TUMMY IS RUMBLING!!!

Suggestions?
