Had to jiggle around my fast days due to lots of plans later on in the week...struggling a bit at the mo, not because I'm hungry but because I've got a banging headache :( tempted just to go get in bed!
Well done Simmer. In for a penny eh? Keep going with both, you will be so healthy and quids in

I'm in today, usual green tea all day then salad with chicken for dinner, cup of chai during the evening, maybe a 10 calorie jelly and a 40 calorie hot chocolate at bedtime. I feel so fortunate that I find this so easy.

Good luck to all, especially anyone that is finding it hard. Just think about what you can eat tomorrow :clover: :like:
I had my breakfest at 12 pm now can not wait 6 -7 pm for my dinner
salad with something , maybe egg
I'm also fasting today. 3rd fast, and so far it's going ok.

For the past two fasts i've eaten a little mid-morning, a little mid-afternoon and a little just before bed. But today I'm trying to go as long as I can without anything so I can have something more filling this evening! So far it's going ok. It's 3pm and I'm surprised at how good I feel!

Going to do a small bit of exercise around 4pm, then do a few jobs at home, which will then lead me nicely to food time!

Having a great day. Hope you all are too!
Fasting today in the US as well. Jumped out of bed and logged 5,000 steps before work. Today is weigh day as well, down 1.6 lbs, WooHoo!

Chai tea for breakfast, Orange tea for midmorning, Beef Broth and soda for lunch, Chocolate tea for mid afternoon snack. Wilted leaf lettuce salad for dinner with a blackberry custard, yumm!
I'm fasting today. It's been a rough few weeks and I haven't been fasting (or exercising) :frown: I started and abandoned a couple of fast days last week, but had too much other stuff going on and was making myself feel wretched by trying to do everything on an empty stomach.

Anyhoo, today IS another day, and so far so good. I've had milk in my coffee but that's is all day so far. Breaking myself in gently by having a meal but not worrying about the exact calories tonight - a small portion of homemade shepherds pie (mine contains lots of veg already, plus I drain the fat) and a pile of greens. Just a few hours to go. If I crack today I will feel able to do things properly again :clover:
I'm in~ it's 3.30pm and I'm struggling today, have had coffee/teas and almost 2 litres of sparkling water. On Friday, Saturday & Sunday I did 16:8 and I'm not sure if this is why I'm struggling today?
Got a Waitrose chilled chicken harrissma and taboluea for dinner. 264 cals. Not sure what else I will have yet.
I am fasting today too, so far the day has been without any problems, only drinking.. but for sure I am looking forward for my dinner - SOON!!
I'm in! It is already midmorning, and doing well. Tried 8/16 Thursday through Saturday as I was traveling and away from home, ended up 2 lbs over this am. I think the Chinese yesterday may have something to do with that as well. I will be switching to a Wednesday fast this week as I am donating blood on Thursday.

Simmer best of luck to you and welcome Jaine!

Have a great day all!
Sorry late check in for me ! Daughter coming home to Spain for the summer after her first year at college in UK , tonight :) so have been out to stock the cupboards up and getting everything ship shape , my nest will be full once more :) made a big pot of leek and broccoli soup for supper , have also started my HIIT on my new exercise bike, time to tone ;) Good luck everyone x
I'm in for today, been easy as well latish afternoon and eaten a dish of fruit and a yogurt so far, not feeling peckish at all, just drinking water as well. It's certainly easy when you're busy though, nicely cleaned patio as a result of this mornings efforts :like:
Yes I'm in today had only drinks so far also done 6.5km walk showered and ironing, but now go grumbles so oxo coming-up evening meal at about 6-30pm.
Large salad plus chicken breast sprinkled with Cajun spices and cooked on/by George Forman ! Where would I be without him by my side :like: Sue
Debbiejgb ~ I weighed this morning and have allegedly gained 4 since Friday's weigh in?! I'm fairly sure that in under my TDEE on the days I do 16:8. Are you going to be doing 5:2 & 16:8 together all week? Xx
That's right, pumpkin42, "allegedly." My scale said 2lbs heavier than yesterday and I said "liar"! Don't be afraid of the small upticks. They're natural, and probably not fat gain anyway. I use the "true weight" app (free) so I don't have to sweat the small stuff.

13th fast today. A little nervous since I have a five hour drive ahead of me, but I'm going to sip marmite tea. Food will be two energy bars...don't usually use them for fasts but this way I will have something to eat in the car if I need it.
Well it is 16.15 & I am doing well. Only had two cups tea with sweetener & lots water. Got a lovely plum in a minute then a low calorie dinner to eat about 1800. Been busy washing cars all morning & now at work at the hospital till 22.30.
