Just had my first meal of the day about 200 calories and now off for a walk, feeling a bit sluggish today - looking forward to something light and warm for dinner then a big sleep!

Kiwi, I agree what's already been said. The beauty of 5:2 is that it allows you to live a normal life which every now and then includes celebrations. So don't stress but enjoy; after all this is not a race!

Oops I hadn't considered the sprint I would have to do through Narita to catch my flight! I hope Chicago is kinder to me.
I did 16:8 yesterday, went out on a late night shopping expedition (very successful ) and when I got home I so needed a cuppa that I had one with milk outside of my 8 hour window. So there!!!!
