No you didn't fail stoker face you listened to your body - feed a cold starve a fever - some days just aren't meant for fasting
A cold/flu sees Me tucking into lots of soups and there are some fab recipes on forum

I made it thru , had a lovely dinner of quorn chicken style pieces with curry paste in light philly with steam veg and zero noodles was unable to eat it all so was well under 500cals for the day for my pretend chicken noodle curry.

stokerface you certainly didn't fail your body just didn't want to fast ,that's the beauty of this WOL there is always tomorrow.
I fasted today, went really well, this is second one this week, and as this is only my second week I wondered when is the best time to weigh myself??? Also what is the 16:8 that some talk of would be interested to know :grin:
Well just enough calls left for the Options hot chocolate lurking at the back of the cupboard AND I still don't really like them!
Rach go to the 5:2+ 16:8 fast thread by Wendy Darling. There is heaps about it there as well there is a 5:2 v 16:8 thread. Maybe someone could copy the tread links to here as I am a bit of a Luddite on my iPad, oh that's an oxymoron statement oh well
Hi all,
Fasting today too! 3rd fast :) Although I haven't fasted for just over 2 weeks due to being away and then sick! So i'm really looking forward to feeling great and empowered again after today.

From my last fasts, I saw a few good results. I lost 2.8kg, my eczema started to clear up and I felt and looked less bloated.

Another really interesting thing, after being on a holiday and eating way too much, I assumed I would have stacked the 2.8kg back on. I felt like I had. But I weighed myself, and I was exactly the same! Thrilled!

Just watching the Morning Show (Australia) and the 5:2 diet is featured today, taking the world by storm apparently! So exciting!

Have a great fast day everyone, im already starving but it will pass :)
