Hi Everyone! fasting today and not struggling at all so far! Having a good day! Just ate my salad for lunch and will have a small portion of my family's normal dinner. Feeling positive and good with this way of living. I've lost 15 pounds and am down a size in clothing. More to come. Keep going if you all get discouraged because it does come off in jumps.
I'm in today. Just some grapes a 10cal jelly and a satsuma today so far with large mushrooms with fat reduced brie and a big salad for dinner tonight and a mini milk ice lolly for afters.

I'm preparing Thursday's fast dinner tonight while I'm cooking tonight's, turkey burgers from the fast diet cookbook.

I'm two weeks from my next weigh in and I'm feeling apprehensive. I am two months in and so far I've lost an inch off my waist but only about a pound and a half in weight.
Hi to everyone and especially all the new fasters today!

Been a good day so far, spent the afternoon gardening as it finally decided to stop raining in Wales. Soup for tea tonight, then salsa dance class.

Really hope I see a drop tomorrow as my weight stayed the same all last week. Only a few pounds to go - why are they the hardest??!!
I'm in too - Monday is my usual fasting day. I changed to Tuesday and Thursday last week and it didn't feel right somehow!

I haven't had anything to eat so far. It hasn't been at all difficult but I have felt very cold all day. I'm wearing a thick winter fleece at the moment.

OH and I are having an M&S Fuller Longer meal for dinner in about half an hour.
I'm fasting today and I just feel dreadful. :frown:

My joints are all achy and I've been having a headache off and on. The worst is how hard it's been to focus on work, though. I'm a writer and so focus is incredibly important to me! I've only managed to write a thousand words all day.

I had green tea for "breakfast". Lunch was an egg and broccoli omelet (233 calories). I need to somehow squeeze some more work out of me before the day is done!
Oh dear Z hope it wasn't your first fast or it's going to really put you off!!

Did you drink LOTS of water (I drink at least 2 litres on a fast day) it helps a lot
Very cold this afternoon. Just off to make dinner of tinned tuna and salad, baked spud with it for non-fast OH. Hot chocolate drink before bed.
Well done fasters everywhere today. Keep sipping water!
I'm fasting today and its going well...much better than last week. Good luck everyone and not long til bedtime!

Nope, not my first fast. Just having a bad one for some reason! I'm going to drink some more water and have another tea. I will get through today.
Things I have learned today.

I do not have to eat every 2 hours.
I do not have to eat every time I have a break in work.
I managed to live a whole day in work on a cereal bar & soup.
I HATE fish - unless its battered haha.

I had poached cod & it was the worst meal ever!

Might just have my next fast day soup, soup, soup cos I would have enjoyed that better.

Anyway I would call that a successful 1st fast day!

Dxxx
Hi everyone,
I'm fasting today. I'm a newbie to the site but today will be my thirteenth fast. Really pleased I found this forum. Helps to know I'm not going it alone!
I'm back from hols which included a lot of eating way too much and no fasting so I knew the scale would be up but it was only 3 pounds. So back to fasting today. I thought it would be hard since I had a week of eat eat eat, but it's not been bad at all.
I fasted today. Found it quiet difficult and a found it hard concentrate at work. I am planning to have a tuna salad followed by some strawberries and then an early night.
Late signing in today because we are visiting family in sunny, north Germany (25 degrees!) and have had a busy day. My husband decided not to fast today but I felt that I needed to - after over-eating madly since we left home on Friday morning! I dont' count calories any more (not since week 3 - now week 21) but I think that I have had more than 500 calories, probably nearer 700, but better than eating 4000 today! I have just got to get through until bedtime and then that will be another fast done and dusted.

Good luck to those still fasting today. Make it a good one! Onwards and downwards!
I'm in today. M - W - F this week and probably next. Trying to get a workable plan since we have my daughter's 16th birthday, my parents visiting from Florida and an upcoming holiday, and a wedding on the calendar the next two weeks. It's a lot to work around. My parents love to go out to dinner. A LOT. It is going to be a crazy couple of weeks, so I need to really focus on these next few fast days. Soup and salad is on the menu for today. Good luck all.
