Im fasting today. new on here, but been doing it for a while. Will try for 4 3 this week. Wish me lucy. Happy Fasting !!
:starving: Well I think kinda blew it today, on top of my usual soup at lunch I had some slices of chicken breast followed by a few almonds, then my mini serve for dinner of Osso bucco looked so sad without the mash that I had doled out on dear-heart's plate. So I secumbed and gave myself a little dollop too. I usually use up all my 500 cals so I would be over

As it is my 32nd fast and I am doing 5:2 + 16:8 I can totally forgive myself. Dinner tasted great and I will have to see what I can achieve between now and weigh in. I am blaming it on the incessant heavy rain we have had all day and just feeling this has been a long haul.

I am going to have a week off in a fortnight, think that will be a good break.
Yoga sounds lovely,nadiaj
I did yoga this afternoon and actually find I get more out of it on fasts days
Felt fabulous ,didnt eat a thing til 5pm ,then had a boiled egg
Planning to eat lots of veggies for dinner.
Very easy fast today
Good luck to all newbies....it gets easier
I'm getting lapse on my checkins' sorry, or should I say 'way laid' kids have finished school for the summer, and I'm all muddled already ! Anyway lovely and sunny here, and very busy working week of catering for clients - Fast today so far so good, looking forward to poached chicken and veggies tonight x Good Luck all x
Think I'm going to try another day of not eating until the evening, or maybe even try 36h liquid fast. This is mainly because I'm too lazy to go to Sainsburys to buy any food...
Fasting today, and may even try a complete liquid fast instead of the light dinner like I have had in the past few weeks. I do have milk in my coffee and tea throughout the day.

After eating a lot during the weekend it feels appropriate to hold back today. I was really pleased with surprisingly low scale numbers after last week’s fasts but they had very much disappeared at this morning’s weigh in! I had an arbitrary goal in mind of getting to less than 60kg by my birthday (Wednesday). Well I saw 58.9kg on the scales last week but whether I’ll see it again before Wednesday remains to be seen!

Lunchtime is nearly here and if the weather is OK I’ll be going for a walk. Sipping a cup of tea now to keep habitual hunger at bay.
Well, almost bedtime here in Aus. I've just had a weak iced coffee. Milk before bedtime seems to settle me down on fast days. Just catching up on posts while my electric blanket heats up. It's going to be another cold night. Best wishes to those who are still ploughing through their day.
My post disappeared so I will try again. I am in today, it is much needed after eating non stop at the Highland Show. Although it is not very warm here today I am planning a feta and olive salad. I think Wimbledon will help me along as I usually can't pull myself away from the telly when it is on. Hope everybody fasting today get on fine :clover:
I've amazed myself by getting through from around 7.30pm yesterday to 1.30 pm today with only 3 cups of tea, a coffee, a herbal tea and some water. I've never missed breakfast in my life until now! Trying to last until at least 4pm.
My husband and I fasted yesterday instead of today because we got home late on Saturday from our ten days in Germany and there was nothing to eat in the house! We both put on a few pounds while we were away and thought it better to get back on to the fasting WOE immediately!

Well done, Janine 962 on your restraint so far but if you do find that you need to eat earlier, then it really won't matter - as long as you hit your calorie total for the day.

Good luck to all of you fasting today, especially the newbies! Onwards and downwards!
Well after a couple of weeks of flirting with 16:8 and a week of eating everything in sight I am back on 5:2 this week and today is my first proper fast for a good few weeks. Ok so far, had an apple late morning and just having a cuppa soup. Off to the hairdressers later so a couple of black coffees while I am there and then it will be time for dinner - poss fish and veg or poss eggs, see what I feel like and what OH fancies. Hope everyone is having a good day x
It's 3:00PM here and I don't feel really hungry so the chinese soup will be for tonight, with the 3 eggs omelette. It's quite a surprise for me that today is not difficult. I mean, I was sick during the weekend and it's the bad week of the month as well so I really thought it would be hell but in fact it's the opposite.
I am in for sure.. after a weekend of lots of food and celebrating my sons wedding and the batism of my grandson ( 4 month old ) .

I haven't been weighing myself this morning but this week will be a low-calorie week

And for sure... I am fasting mon/wed/fri..

Good luck to all of you :like:

Pia
I am fasting today and I need to be strict about it. I gained a pound this last week. It's the first week that i didn't lose any weight.

it was the Cranberry Cheddar Cheese and gluten free oat/pumpkin seed crackers that threw me off. now that those are gone (I totally pigged out on them) I should be able to get back on track.
I'm in. Been spending the afternoon on my 'puter browsing the forums (standing up of course!). I haven't lost any weight for a couple of months so I need to try something new. I've decided to low carb on Tuesdays and Fridays following my fast days; no measuring or counting but just cutting out sugar, bread, rice potatoes and pasta. That still leaves 3 days of eating whatever I want. Kippers and freah tomatoes for breakfast tomorrow, then maybe a stir fry for lunch and spicy chicken with salad for dinner. Oh no, I'm thinking about food again and there's 3 hours to go 'til dinner. :starving:
